Delta THC and Headaches

I take Delta 8 or 9 edibles occasionally. Once per 7-10 days on average. And I've begun to notice that sometimes, like maybe 25% of the time, I end up having an intense behind-the-eyes headache several hours later.

Have any of you experienced this? And/or do you have any theories on why this is?

This happened again last night and I can now confidently surmise this cannot be a coincidence. I don't typically have headaches. And this has happened just often enough after Delta use.

I've been using the same product for the last 6 months or so. So I don't THINK it's about the product quality.

Then again, last night was a relatively big dose by my standards. It was about 40mg and typically I'm usually in the 15-25 range.
 
Oh, there's one more variable I can add: I did have 2 beers around the same time I took the Deltas. I looked back through my spreadsheet and noticed that I haven't had any alcohol on my previous 4 or 5 Delta days (yes, I actually track all this shit). I wouldn't think a measly 2 beers would be the difference, but who knows
 
What "product" are you using?

I ask because many of the grey area alt cannabinoids are made with very irresponsibly and with shoddy chemistry. I have had significant side effects before, but never headaches.

I think its unusual you would get headaches now if you have been using it consistently for several months. I would probably blame an exogenous factor. Are you hydrated? Nutrition? Blood pressure? etc....

The only time cannabinoids have ever given me an acute headache was when I was dehydrated and had also used too much tobacco concurrently.
 
It's an "urb" product.

I don't know if I'd say I've used it consistently. There are times I'll go 2-3 weeks without using. Then other times when I use it something like 3 times in a 5 day span. The 7-10 day thing was just an overall average.

I wouldn't think it's nutrition or blood pressure. I'm pretty nutritious and my blood pressure is always on the low side of normal.

Dehydrated? Perhaps. Are you suggesting the headache could be due to dehydration alone, or some sort of combination of dehydration and Delta use.
 
Im gonna be completely honest with you and jump the gun on saying you probably got some shit with pesticides or some kind of PGR even if its lightly used and far less noticeable on the end product. As far as American cannabis goes I have 0 faith in a single good practice, as for any system that isn't medicinal and outside the US in this case seems to be pretty open to product grown with less than honest means.

Secondly how sure are you this is a legit product and where did you buy it? Fake takes on legit packs and fakes all around, Its a fucking plague man. Also there's a damn good to very high chance any delta that isn't 9 and hell maybe even 9 these days.. maybe is sketchy to me, you know its not being extracted purely from natural grown bud or there'd never be enough of the supply based on how little of the plant actually contains the other cannabinoid at any real usable level (Other than delta 9 really). Personally never trusted em too much I wish people could cut all the bullshit and sell it as is, even if it is some bullshit synthetic better than consuming it not wanting/knowingly.

Your post reminded me that I should have also included the fact that I've had headaches with other previous products, not just this Urb product. Not that it's impossible multiple products have the same pesticides or unfavorable qualities, as you've suggested
