I've always been curious about alcohols besides ethanol. 100 mL of 40% ethanol generally provides threshold effects for me. Assuming I have pure IPA, and that it is roughly 2x as potent as ethanol, would ingesting 25 mL of IPA be a worthwhile experiment?
From reading toxicology articles I gather that treatment for IPA intoxication is largely supportive (like ethanol) and as long as I don't overshoot the dose, I'll be fine.
