You'd have to do it manually.. post by post

admins wont do this for you.. this is on you.. I believe it's in the BLUA

edit:

Why won't you delete my account for me?

Again, this is the user's responsibility. No one forced you to register and no one is forcing you to leave.

its in my link Greenlighters Guide to Bluelight

yeah but i cant delete the account its self, once the admin goes in to the control panel they have the option to dekete the member and remove all posts by that member at the same time

Delete your posts, and the info in your profile.. Cookies, history.. Everything with BL

i dont see why it's difficult to do

May I direct you to this thread, specifically the last post. I am sure that is a sufficient answer in this case as well.

ok i was told that each member is allowed one name change through out their time here at BL

so i would like that dome then please so that there is no link to my user name of being here thanks

That's only if you're on staff

When you register, you create your Screen Name (SN), which is also refrered to as a Login Name or User ID. At the time you create this you are deciding what name all the other members will know you as and how they will refer to you. If you later decide you would like to change this name you will need to re-register with a new account.

If you choose to register a new name, you should abandon the earlier login name as per the Bluelight User Agreement (BLUA) which prohibits multiple login names (aka alter-egos). Do not register a second account just to harass another member.

If you want to use the exact same email address for your next account, you will have to edit the profile of the old account. The system is dependent on one email address per SN. Go to "User CP" at the top, then click the tab for "EDIT PROFILE" and change that email address to a less used email address (you might even use a bogus address, since you won't need that account anymore). Then you can use your preferred email address when registering the new account.

If you need to change your email address, just follow the procedure outlined above. The system will send an email to the new account to let you know that it was changed.

ive never seen somewhere that tries to make it so hard to not allow a person to leave and have their account deleted when for the member its self it its a long hard task that cant be fully completed yet being an owner of several forums of my own in the past i know how simple it is just to open the ADMIN CPU and its takes less than 3 clicks of a mouse to delete the member asking to have done so for them ... why is it so hard to do so ?

Well it isn't that hard to not come on the computer and open up bluelight..... or is it?

ypu dont see the point , i want my name removed from here completely ... yes i can close this page clear cookies but i will still be a registered name ... i want that completely gone and only admin can do that part

No, I see your point. It is just not rational. These rules have been in place for years. They are not going to be changed for you.

Just let the stuff from The Angry Thread blow over.

^ So how do we know this is you, and not the person who stole your identity? Another reason we don't delete usernames. Jealous significant others coming on and trying to have their partner deleted from BL.

well i think if u ask anyone from EADD i have no other half and have not for a long time which was a girl from portugal that left me years ago

Well, I have no further say in the matter. Best of luck with the whole identity theft thing.

Seriously, no admin is going to delete all your posts, it's been pointed out several times why, you can go delete all of them yourself and send links of the closed posts to moderators of that forum and politely ask them to delete it for you. Sucks about the identity theft, but you have to do the process we've all outlined for both accounts, and you can't change your username but you can change the email address it's attached to, which may help a bit.
