Delayed Phenibut withdrawal from single dose? Anyone?

Anyone have this experience? Understand why?
- 1800 mg dose, does little
- 3600 mg dose, fantastic, seriously takes like 7 hours to kick in but last a long time

But then, honestly not till 3 to 4 days later . . . rebound anxiety big time, basically lasting just one day, but it sucks.

This happens from a single 3600 mg dose, even after abstinence for several months. Would love for Phenibut to kick in way faster, and the opportunity to use much less even if it means shorter duration of effect, especially if it would avoid/mitigate rebound. (Really, my question is how to avoid rebound, the "kick in faster" stuff is less important, but other threads seem generally unsupportive of that.)

All thoughts very much welcome. I've seen a lot of posts on Phenibut on this site, but none addressing this specifically, please let me know if there's a thread that answers this that I've missed (apologies in advance if I have).
Thanks!

I don't think that's withdrawals, perhaps rebound anxiety at the most. I think it's in your head to be honest because we hear so much about withdrawals that people become horrified of going through them.

i have never had the need to take more than 2g of phenibut
usually stay under 1g for therapeutic reasons

look for the best BA ROA, i think i remember rectal. but 3g+ good luck =D

what is your experience with phenibut? did u use before this and then start again or what happened?

Thanks for all the responses. I initially used Phenibut for a period of a couple weeks, taking weekends off, then was noticing significant rebound anxiety (even while on). I was faced with either upping the dose or stopping. I chose the latter course and went through about a week of high anxiety before normalizing. Took a long time off after that. Since then, occasionally (maybe once every two or three months) I've taken one dose one day, but surprisingly suffer rebound anxiety two or three days later. I guess I assumed a single dose wouldn't cause rebound, but perhaps I should try to lower the dose a bit.

If it affects GABA and you are taking a large dose that takes 7 hours to feel effects, it could just be that after you dose and peak, your brain has a lot of GABA, and then it down-regulates for a day or so with peak withdrawal being a few days after you dosed.

The "drug facts" are confusing to me.
The half life is supposed to be 5 hours, but your OP and other trip notes state that it can take 5-7 hours to peak, and then last for hours.

It seems like a logical guess, but the closest thing I've ever taken was Gabapentin.
