A friend has a IV drip bag of Dilaudid that hospis wasn't aware he had when his girlfriend with cancer recently past away. He offered the bag for trade, but I don't like using needles. Are these generally a certain strength? Also how would one go about dehydrating the aqueous solution for insufflation. Or should I just use an oral syringe and drink it, or sublingually perhaps? Any info would be appreciated, as I used the search engine and it seems no one else has had this problem, or blessing. q:

The bag should be labeled with a concentration.

I see no reason you couldn't gently boil the water off and get a powder. Plugging, sublingual, and oral would all work too.

so it should have a dosage like 8mg/mL (just throwing a number out there). bit in that sort of way? or would it go by Xmg/L?? I'm thinking using an oral syringe to know I'd have ~X mg/ X mL then dehydrate as one would with K. Does this sound right?? I just didn't know if it'd say mg/mL or if it'd be mg/L (or however these bags come). I've also read about there being as low as 4mg for a whole drip bag. Any one want to include their two cents?

Thank you, sounds as simple as I expected. When he finally brings it, I'll post my results for your own knowledge.
