Ive been a Defhead for as long as I can remember, so needless to say I absolutely love the Deftones. Ive seen them a handful of times, and have even met them! (A close family friend of mine actually went on a few dates with Stef, believe it or not).

With their new album coming out in May, I thought id see what everyone has to say about them. I know we have some Defheads out there (cough n3o and leftwing )

I've seen them live twice now, once at a festival and another time when i had to pay double the ticket price to some scamming tout in london.

I loved adrenaline, around the fur and white pony but was disappointed in the self titled album and saturday night wrist so i'm not as excited about their new album as i should be

i do hope it kicks arse though

I loved the Deftones the earlier stuff and I kinda stopped listening after White Pony. Put on a good show though

I personally loved the self titled album. Wasnt that into Saturday Night Wrist though.

They have such a unique vibe to them, I cant really put my finger on it though....

I saw them open up for pantera and sabbath in 97, unfortunately, it was such a bad live performance that it turned me away from them. Will check out their newer stuff though.

Actually enjoy Saturday Night Wrist. Not perfect, but better than self-titled. Seen them twice live as well. Am cautiously optimistic for the new shit.

Gotta say, its pretty damn great! Way better than SNW if you ask me.

Beauty School is my favorite song on it, such a great tune. I think you'll all be very pleased when it officially comes out!

but since i dont do dope anymore, i honestly dont listen to em so much. my boss gave me their new album yesterday, havent heard it yet, but i hated saturday night wrist (loved everything up until that tho).

I love the deftones. Saw them live a few years back in Houston's Verizon theater and they put on a MASSIVE show! My favorite album is "White Pony" and my favorite song is Knife Party.

i got the leaked version of the new album diamond eyes. i fucking love it... while the self title and white pony are great in their own respects, i think this album is the best since around the fur in it's entirety. obv. gonna buy it (kinda owe my professional drumming career to Abe/learning and listening)

meh i got sent a few of those links myself and they honestly did nothing for me - nothing like i expected after Sat Night Wrist, which i personally liked. but i don't think i'm going to like this diamond eyes, who knows, might take a while.

the amount of times i've got down and fucked to the deftones...

i'm a big fan of what Chino has done in Team Sleep as well.

i used to buy weed from a guy who looked exactly like stephen carpenter as well, back in high school. that was always a laugh scoring from the guitarist of deftones.
