There's always a plethora of threads regarding how someone should taper off of benzos. The absolute best method of tapering off of benzos can be found via the Ashton Manual. This guide is without a doubt, the absolute best way of tapering and every person who is considering tapering should have knowledge of this invaluable website.

In particular, here is a schedule to taper from any benzo. All that is needed is for one person to find the benzo that they are dependent on and adjust the dose accordingly to Valium. Valium is the standard for withdrawing from benzos and should always be used since it's the one with the most success.

The author of this website is a doctor with a plethora of experience of helping others stop their dependence. No one should question Dr. Ashton because of her decades of sucessfully helping others. If another method helped you stop, then that's great. There's more than one way to skin a cat, but this is the safest way to do just that.

I wasn't sure if everyone was familiar or not with the Ashton Manual, so I wanted this thread to be a place where anyone can discuss tapering off of benzos or any questions that may arise, such as mathematical problems since every single dose of benzos are not listed. There's a fairly large list and hopefully this thread will help others.
