Stimulants Defeating The Adderall XR Time Release Beads Via Water

I've had about 40 milligrams of adderall XR beads sitting in a container filled with water for about 8 hours, and the beads are still intact. I've heard people recommending this method on this forum several times, and I'm kinda thinking that the beads will not dissolve in water, and that I basically have a bunch of adderall that will take 4 hours to kick in :|. Has anybody tried this? Did it work? How long does it take to dissolve? Does heating the beads up speed up the dissolving process? Any information helps. Thanks in advance!
 
Well I tried crushing them, but it didnt seem to be effective, as the beads are soggy and wet and wont crush. The only effective ROA for Adderall is plugging, due to my large tolerance, and unless the beads dissolve, I can't do that.

I would normally be open to oral dosing, but I don't have a sufficient dose. My average oral dose is somewhere around 60-90 depending on the amount of time since the last time I used it.
 
Get a frisby with a lip to contain the beads, and use a spoon in a circular action while applying pressure and then dissolve in H2O. It works for me..
 
I'd be willing to bet that all you need to defeat the time release is time, so I would presume all you need to do is let the solution soak a little.
 
well that's what I'm doing. I tried crushing it up some more, didn't prove to be very effective, so I just put it back in some hot water :|
 
^sorry but thats not much help to me. It has already been soaking for a while, and when I attempt to remove the water (which gets saved of course) and then crush the beads, they dont crush. Im gonna follow TC's advice and wait it out.
 
Well I wa referring to the next time you are gonna plug and have the XR beads. There's not much you can do now, I would suggest very very very very gentle heat and to stir it often to hasten the dissolving process. How many mL's are you soaking it in?
 
I've never plugged adderall, but I'm aware of its time release mechanism consisting of plastics that basically are harder for your GI to digest at a relatively steady rate. It's pretty much defeated by pulverizing the beads. Crushing them is not enough BFOD, you will need the most surface area possible for best results. I mean the powder should have the consistency of temazepam capsules. I'll refer to my friend whose a specialist and ask him how duration of soaked solution subjectively affects intensity.
 
This has been a subject I've been wondering about myself. I've almost never had to get the XR's, but when I have, I've still plugged them, after just crushing the beads down into as fine of a powder as is possible. This method seemed somewhat effective, but those beads are really godamn hard to pulverize and what was 40mg of mixed amphetamines plugged, really did not feel like it (more like 25-30).

I'm pretty sure that the beads will not just dissolve on their owne in water, warm or not (though I know it does for straight up plane Dextroamphetamine XR), or if so, it would just take way too long. If you use a mortar and pestle you can really beat those things down into a powder quickly...I just can't find mine.
 
In the future I'd take entheo's advice and next time find something with a raised lip, I always just used a plate, and slowly roll a spoon starting from the outside inwards. This will make a "barrier" of sorts so that the beads won't slip away while crushing. It takes about 3 mins tops, then you can mix the powder in some warm/hot'ish water to help breakdown the plastic polymer that makes up the time release on half the beads, then plug. Plugging XR's doesn't seem very affective to me since your GI can't break down the time release coating, as your stomach would after 4hrs of sitting them sitting in stomach acid. I always just recapped the crushed powder and took them like that, could be a bitch to get all the powder back into the capsules though sometimes.
 
Hypothetically, I bet applying gentle heat could coax the remaining amphetamines from the plastic into solution, along with melting all the gross contaminates but it doesn't matter for rectal use.

Or you can just fold a piece of paper... empty the beads in the middle, and then close the folded piece of paper like a card. Trap the beads in a "pocket" of sorts by using your fingers to form a wall around where the beads are underneath in the paper, and then just a lighter or anything else hard to just smash em up really quick and slide it across the paper pack and forth to get a nice powder.

Takes like 15 seconds... never ever loses any beads...

This isn't rocket science lol, a spoon on a plate sounds like a very difficult crushing device, and losing beads will also be pretty inevitable...

I started out using that very method, it saved a step of folding a piece of paper to use as a "funnel" of sorts for the crushed beads back into the capsules, which I'll admit refilling the capsules has just been a personal choice so I could take them on the go with me. Your method works as well, I just found that one, the paper would act as a barrier between spoon and beads, so I wouldn't end up with as fine a powder as with using a plate and spoon. Since he was going for a plugging ROA I figured the more surface area of the timed beads he was able to crush would allow for more GI absorption of the amphet.
 
The easiest and quickest way is pouring the beads in to a shot glass, and twisting down with a screwdriver, as a makeshift mortar and pestle.

This gives the most consistent results and no beads float away, plus these are two items that are easily found in most homes.
 
Do you really wanna chance having microscopic glass shards in your solution? I've even inhaled glass from scraping resin off a piece. That's why I stick to a hard plastic frisbee with a lip and a lot surface area..
 
Using the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, there should be absolutely no "glass" (borosillicate, aka Pyrex) in your solution, unless you were to use something harder than borosillicate to smash your Adderall beads. I don't think I've ever seen a shotglass made out of real glass (soda glass, "container glass" in this case), so unless your screwdriver bottom was made out of some sort of metal and not the usual hard plastic, I wouldn't worry about it.

I never use anything harder than wood to scrape my "glass" (boro) pipes and bongs when I'm cleaning them, as using a sharp metal object, like a cast iron butter knife or steel razor blade, will definitely scratch your "glass" piece as steel is harder than boro. A kebab stick or toothpick usually work great. I learned about Mohs scale of mineral hardness on a weed smoking forum, actually.

On the other hand, using Frisbee plastic could leave tiny plastic fragments if the Adderall XR beads were harder than the Frisbee's plastic, but I doubt it, although your metal spoon is definitely harder than the Frisbee, but using the bottom of it should be ok as long as it is molded properly and is smooth.

The shotglass + screwdriver method is still FTW, I thought it was the official Bluelight method of crushing XR beads? Do a search for old Adderall XR bead crushing threads, you'll see that it is commonly accepted as the best way to crush em.
