TRUMP...TRUTH.
I was reading another topic and this idea came: Does anyone have data about taking a 2h nap during amphetamine crash, possibly combined with clonidine. The question is, is the brain capable of successfully reaching stage 4 sleep and return to REM sleep before the 2 hours elapse? I have never done an EEG while sleeping so I don't know. Would that be a fair assumption to make that a 2h nap during amphetamine/clonidine crash will provide ONE stage 4 deep sleep, providing partial recovery of the brain?

A full cycle of sleep (all stages including REM & slow wave, so called deep sleep) takes between 90 and 120 minutes, so yes, it will provide some level of recovery, if that is what you are asking.

I don't think you could tell without having an EEG done.

I don't expect sleep quality would be very high with amphetamine still in your system. But then again, everyone's different.

It would also depend what other medications you took for the crash.
