My first DXM trip was great about 600mg some visual hallucinations major audio hallucinations the next two trips after that were about the same great experiences then i noticed a slight decline in affects and now its more of a buzz and not a real trip i have been raising my dosage slightly, but is that the problem just not enough DXM to go with my rising tolerance?

I've read that DXM effects diminish with each consecutive usage. I don't think that's the case for myself but apparently this happens to some people. Just lay off for a while and come back to it with a good 600mg + dosage. Try to wait a month or more.

You need to take breaks between dosing DXM, because it looses its "magic" when abused too often. Which is exactly what you are describing. Search Erowid's DXM vault for more info.

Frequent drug use causes tolerance, yes. And given the number of DXM threads you've made, you probably due it frequently enough that this will be an issue.
