Night came the same time as always
I felt an emptiness pervade my heart
Each time I felt like something was missing
What was missing from my grips?
I thought I had everthing I needed
I must have been wrong
Little did I know just how wrong I was
You began speaking to me and we became friends
I helped you through hard times and you helped me
I was beginning to love your presence
It got to the point to where I could not stand being with out you
You became my need
Then it happened, you were mine
And for six months now it has been the best of my life
I pray that it goes on for a very very long time
If it does not, although it will hurt, I will always be there for you
I sleep you, I breath you, I dream of you
You are but half of me
When that part is gone I will be also
So now at night when the darkness falls upon me
I am no longer lonely but in the arms of the one I love and adore
