Decent radio stations in Sydney?

Was wondering if anyone knows any radio stations in Sydney that play decent music (house, trance, usual stuff).
Been playing with my radio dial for weeks with no luck. I've heard a few here and there, but I never know what the frequency is, and half the time I forget what day/time they're on...please help!!

You can't go past 2SER.. 107.3fm.. It's there all the time, however music isn't 24/7. Listen between 12 and 4 and then after 8:30 on nights.. very very good. Has all the Clan Analogue guys, dnb, trance, tekno, doof, breaks.. the whole gig.. plus if you're a member you get to win cool stuff, like i have!

Also try 87.6 Rythm FM Its a little bit more commercial than 2SER but thats not all bad, occasionally they get some really high profile on to like Judge Jules, Roger Sanchez that sort of thing. Whats great to is that its FULL time.

I agree 2SER can be maad!
Unfortunately Free FM 96.9 (in not Gay, not that theres anything wrong with that hehe) just went off air, and it played some siiick trance and progressive stuff late at night!
Another station you may wanna look at is something called cpx on swar fm!
This is actually a test broadcast and may not actually be on this week. Every week, they warn that this could be their last broadcast, thanfully so far every week they have survived. This station so far in the 3 weeks i have listened has had guests like Bexta, Fenix and Elroy and other famous dj's mixing live sets. The music has been mostly trance/progressive, hardcore and a lot of happy hardcore (mostly old skool!).
Its on Wednesdays at about 8 or 9pm and goes till about 12:30am. Its on 99.9fm
Dont blame me if its not on this week cause theywarned they might go off air, you can also support them by sending emails to the ABA to keep them on air!
Another station that is a dance station is 87.6fm.
This station varies depending on your area. I think the dance area is only around the east of Sydney (marubra etc). A map of what music this frequency broadcasts can be found on the ABA'a website (thats what they told me on the phone). I rang up and complained because i couldnt pick up the dance where i live, and had to listen all night to some psychadelic arabic music. But if u live in the right area, this is a mad station!

heya JAS. yes, 87.6 is a really good station (mainly at night tho). i get it nicely (livin in the east)....but sometimes hard to get in the car. tues night is nik fish (i think). fri night is awsome!!! 8-10 is john ferris playing awsome progressive/trance, and following that from 10 onwards in the ministry of sound show, which starts slow and biulds its way up. really top stuff.
and yes, 99.9 (wednesday nights) is nice as well. But we need a good, solid, permanent dance station for all. there is sooooo much demand, so why the fuck dont they give licenses???!!!!!!

Nothing Beats the easy listening classics on 2CH!!
i always tripple drop everytime i listen to that show, seekers never sounded so good. and when The Carpenters spin their shit, oh god! i am down for the count, floored!

If you want some fluid beats to liquefy your minds you should check out my(and a friends) show(Midnight function) on Hawkesbury radio 89.9. The time is 12 midnight to 3am on a friday night..so if you aint out bangin hard..check us out.
We got electro
we got tech-house
we got techno
we got acid
we got trance
and bit of everything else.
disclaimer: because this station is in the hawkesbury(out west) our coverage aint everywhere its needed. Check it out...but dont complain if you get some wack psycho babbling hymns mixed with interference and the best of country and western.
