Any random person on the internet has more knowledge than a scholar from thousands of years ago.

the emotions are tiggered by outside souces, yes. but what im getting at is that emotions are not always controlled by logic. so just because something feels right doesn't mean it is right.

That's right. emotions are not supposed to be controled by logic. they're not logical. Understand, that you can either view things through logic or intuition. Just because intuition doesn't partake of your regular "logic", doesn't mean it's all crap.

^^^ Just because you think something is right, doesn't make it right.

Very true. Which is why I gather information from all different sources and after a careful analysis try and make the most informed decision that I can. I would never claim that my opinion is the final say in the matter, but no one is going to accuse me of ignoring the facts.

There are plenty of books on space-time, chaos theory, stellar structure and all the other areas most of the links and posts seem to claim to know about available at your local library, in E-Book format, in your local book store or in online scientific journals. And of course as part of the education system in school or university.

The fact you couldn't answer a single one of my questions does show that most of the attempts at being factual you made were infact rubbish. Just claims someone I would expect is equally misinformed about "the suns polarity" and "butterfly effect" has made, using those words to make people think "Wow, he really does know his stuff, because I've heard those words on some science documentary or in the newspaper and they are supposed to be deep science".

You didn't even manage to counter my comment about you contradicting yourself about not relying about old ideas and finding our own, yet you seem to be putting loads of faith in the Mayan connection, and ignoring all modern science on how its tosh.

And I maybe only a "kid on the internet", but I've managed to ask you a bunch of very simple questions you cannot answer. If you know whats going to happen, just explain how the Sun's polarity will change, preferably the process that will do it. That and how space-time is going to undergo changes. Not a lot to ask, you've mentioned those things are going to happen, and I've asked for an elaboration. Or are those supposed future events just vague words to you that you don't understand and try to pass off as profound too, knowing not many people know much about stellar structure or space-time. I'm doing those in my uni course, so I can spot bullshiters a mile off, and lets just say this thread sets off the bullshit alarm in a big way.

Then explain how its going to affect us here on earth.

Largest piece of crap I've seen on BL, hands down. Archive when it's done please.

Definitely the largest steaming pile that's violated my nose for a while...

*insert generic acid casualty comment about feeling some elusive vibe*

Come now Blowmonkey, has it really been so long since he posted? ;)

Damnit.. I had forgot about him. Let's keep it at a tie between this thread and David. ;)

Both bring forth incoherent random nonsense.

I have always been fascinated by the amount of emotion people put into arguing about who is ultimately right about the end of the world. In my mind, I alwys see the same silly image of two cockroaches standing on a hill overlooking the world that had just "ended", one casually saying to the other, "See, Fred, told you that's how it was gonna go down. *spit*".

Fascinating read, these last few pages. Thanks, everyone.

no, it really isn't interesting at all.

It is interesting that at the same time we discuss subject matter related to Mayan predictions (if that's what they are) that there is this hurricane, turning as a wheel of time cast from the heavens, right near the same place.

Well, we all know we're raping the planet.. it's just a matter of time, eh?

I hope that, in the end, the Mayans were the right ones in prediction just as a last-laugh sorta thing towards the imperialists who fucked things up.

no, it isn't. it's hurricaine season in that part of the world, so it's positively mundane. it will hardly be interesting if the sun rises tomorrow if i were to start talking about that, either.

The date 2012 is quite irrelative if time is only an illusion of the Human mind......... So if enough people "believe" something will happen, then maybe it will! :)

Either way, when something BIG does happen, I have "Faith" that it will be the best thing so far. :D
