It all started roughly 4 months ago when i went for a short trek up the road to pick some poisonous deathcap mushrooms, i knew i would trip off them and i was very excited, I ate three mushrooms (one being extremely large). About 30 minutes later i started to feel an extremely painful burning feeling in my stomach, i was sweating lots, freezing cold, and literally soaked in a pool of sweat, i had a shower to wash off the sweat and i started to trip hard in the shower, as soon as i got out i instantly started sweating again, it was at this point when i started to freak out. I walked to my room and laid on my couch, roughly 5 minutes later my vision started to go blurry and i had double vision, over the course of 20 minutes my vision started to get worse until it reached the point where i couldn't even see my own hand in front of my face. Lighting looked very dim and i was slowly slipping into a delirious trip-like state, i really started to freak out and was convinced i was going to die. It was by far the trippiest moment of my whole life. I didnt understand what was happening and reality was slowly fading around me. I couldnt comprehend anything that was going on around me and i couldnt even tell the difference between any physical objects. It was at this point i called an ambulance. The ambulance came 10 minutes later and they had to put 3 blankets on me to soak up all the sweat on the way to the hospital. By the time i got to the hospital i couldnt see anything at all and i felt very dizzy, i was waiting for 3 hours staring at the ceiling which i couldnt even see. Finally i was treated by a nurse and they asked me a few questions, i could barely speak and all i told them was what i had taken. They took me to a ward and pumped 2 1/2 L of water into my arm, i was convinced that the water was lava and was screaming for help, i couldnt sleep the whole night and the side effects lasted roughly 14 hours, i regained most of my vision by 15 hours and they kept me in the hospital for 3 days to monitor my blood pressure and to make sure that i wasnt slowly dying, i was relieved to get out of the hospital. To be honest it was a very intense trip and i plan on doing it again this weekend. I recommend trying the deathcap mushroom as it is an interesting experience. May i add that i felt as if i was out of my body for the entire experience.

Nah deathcaps are shit compared to magic mushies, i had a few deathcaps once and i fucking tripped, i didn't even call an ambulance because i forgot the number. I was freaking out and sore god. God was so majestic and euphoric, i could not believe. I woke up the next day wet and could barely breath. I couldn't even drink water i was so dehydrated.
Holy... Death cap recreationally? Forget it!!! If I were you, I would forget all of this bullshit. And planning a new trip? After this? After 3-4+ day in hospital? After coughing up blood? I know some of the people call this brave, but I in my opinion it would be a serious mistake. That's all what I can write about your trip report.

You need to take them to understand the euphoria. It was more euphoria than cocaine, i'm being serious, but the only bad bit is, is that its an unstable trip and you think you are dying for about 3/4 of the trip.

Maybe the original poster confused amanita muscaria with the death cap. Anyone who eats a few death cap (A. phalloides) fruits will literally die.
A. phalloides are one of the most deadly toxic items in most peoples environment. They won't get you high, they will kill you or completely destroy your liver.
The OP is dangerously ingnorant and confused, or a total troll, and not even a very clever one. Probably the second option.

...And you very well might actually die. People do this? This isn't a trolling post? Death caps won't make you trip and they will likely kill you. Amanita muscaria on the other hand looks very, very similar and is closely related but is an entheogen and won't kill you.
OP, jw but the implication is that you knew what kind of mushroom it was, but the hospital didn't? I get that you only mentioned its class vaguely, but that's very risky.
Well, if they were truly poisonous then you are lucky to have survived. Some of them are very toxic to the liver and don't produce deadly symptoms until it's too late. Some are possibly not that toxic, but its entirely dependent on the exact contents of the mushroom which can vary significantly. Entirely not the worth the risk, but I guess this can serve as a cautionary tale of what not to do when ingesting mushrooms.

In all fairness, this report does sound like a 10 minute imagination story (although I'll rarely jump the gun like that), but you can redeem yourself if you provide proof of your hospital stay or the like. I think all of us would take it back if you could provide something like that. Since things don't add up left and right, especially with your willingness to do it again, people will be quick to write it off. Though people can come off rude, a lot of people don't appreciate that because it really defies all logic and of course, HR doesn't exist there. Many people over the years have come on BL just to demonize any and all substances, but if your account is true then it has its place here.
Also, and you know this, but avoid taking these particular mushrooms again. If not for your own sake, then do it for the people around you. People who are not consciously looking out for their own safety should not be taking any drugs at all.

I'm torn on that... on one hand, someone might see this and decide to try it. On the other hand, almost every response provides information on why that's a terrible idea, as does the report itself. I'm leaning towards leaving it for this reason.
