This is a poem my friend just showed me today. He wrote it a couple years back when our friend david died of AIDS at 19 years old. My friend (who wrote this) is really into planets and zodiac, things of that.. and this really blew me away.. i cried so much reading it... RIP David
Saturn looked at me with a cold eye, and I knew the time was near for one to die,
Uranus' playful spirit entered his body once more, and in his dream, he saw himself at the door,
Neptune put him in restless sleep, then esconsed his spirit, making Venus weep,
Body fading, his Mars Spirit dying, Mercury Silent, Pluto lying,
Jupiter wondering why, as the Moon hung limply in the sky,
The Sun, his father, suddenly dim, afraid to let go of the legacy of him.
The Earth stands alone amidst the Zodiac cries, and lives its own life, through it's own human lies,
As the ancient curses have prophecized, we humans can only live life through human eyes,
And although the eyes all have the same source, there is difficulty seeing on a different course,
We are forced to hate each other, not being able to expereience one another,
Through wisdom and courage the secret lies, the ability to see through another's eyes,
Although for one is his fate sealed, the lessons have been taught, all wounds have been heald,
The zodiac has been completed through many tries, he's finished it all, become incomparably wise,
Sad for all, some think it's too fast, but having learned all lessons, it's time to pass,
The soul is starving for it's next repast, evolve on another zodiac from first to last.
The sun rises on the ascendant, descends into the past,
Life's lesson's beat you, but your survive,
Into negativity and the endless you are cast,
To maximize your skills, but stay alive
A lesson hidden deep in the newspapers for us to learn,
Showing our paths, and which directions to turn
And only small information you need to know,
To decipher yourself, and make room to grow,
When Night pulls her cloak over, riddled with stars,
and unveils Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars,
And we stare in the sky with awe and wonder
But hardly know the influence we're under
the Sun and Moon always influence what we do,
But Uranus, Saturn Neptune and Pluta do that to
So back to my friend, who's life is ending,
My heart is broken again, but now is mending,
I've learned lessons from him, had empathy for his strife
But now it's time for him to move on with his life
Some say they can't save him, some say it's too late,
BUt why save him? Death is only a gate
His body, no use, but who's to say he doesn't live,
I see him in my memorise and the gifts that he gives,
Although i miss him still, I'll see him again surely,
They say it's too late, But i say it's too early.
