Heroin Dealing with urine retention?

After my last dose of heroin about 48 hours ago I had a lot of trouble pissing for quite some time, (around 10 or so hours after using which had never happened before). I was using everyday for 4 days or so and about a gram in total, pretty low tolerance. Anyways, I had experienced urine retention which is an obvious effect of opiates, although hadn't experienced it as badly as the last time I used. In order to avoid physical dependance, I'm abstaining from using again until the weekend. Anyways, I've heard as time goes on these effects become easier to deal with and much less severe as usage increases, im wondering if anyone has any advice for dealing with urine retention? Do different ROA's of heroin result in more/less of this negative effect in anyones experience? Do you think that the next time I use (in a few days) these negative side effects will be less pronounced (Which i hope) or possibly increased due to the break im taking. This is probably the worst side effect of heroin for me and i fucking despise it.... I find constipation much easier to deal with due to pretty easy solutions such as stool softeners, laxatives, fiber, etc. Anyways any help appreciated thanks in advance

^ this and try not to drink a lot before and after dosing. It probaboy will be as bad next time so don't drink a lot.

I usually take a hot shower and end up being able to piss. You're clean and your bladder is empty, oh and you're high. WINx3

This used to happen to me a lot when I was on H. I would always pee before my dose. Afterwards I sat down on the toilet, closed my eyes and gently scratched my back for the urine to come out. A shower made me feel like peeing too.

This, get in the shower, put you're hand under the hot water tap or even just turn the tap on . Always helps me
