My favourite drop in EDM. I love slow burning subtle music. Takes an age to develop and then suddenly, BAM!! Tiny little drop and you're grinning from ear to ear.

If you listen to the track - drop happens at around 6:40. Don't skip ahead to it - doesn't work that way :)

Anyway, what are your favourite drops in EDM and why?
 
As much as I've grown to dislike deadmau5 this track will always have a place in my heart <3. The first couple times seeing this song played live was magical.

^^ this... first time i saw him was outside soldier field in 2010.. was perfect... was a nice warm night out ,it was the first time seeing him and i remember the moment when he played strobe.. nothing will beat that for me...
 
I just checked my iTunes and I have played strobe 121 times. It must be one of my fav all time tracks. And I used to hate DM5 until I heard that. Long live DM5

I was there too. First time I saw him as well. Great show.
 
deadmau5 - strobe came on our electronic radio station here one night on the way home from a small rave - i was on 2c-b and i have to say that song was BAD ASSSSS the little effects in the background i never heard so well before until then it sounded BEAUTIFUL and not only that - it accented the ride on the freeway to make us feel like we were flying - that song and the drop you are talking about is super nice :)
 
listening to some of his recent tunes on soundcloud it sounds like he is going back to the sounds of earlier days i.e random album title...
 
Great responses :) Strobe just rotated through on i-tunes and I thought I'd check back. I have to agree that Deadmau5 can get a little samey. Another of his tracks I adore is HR 8938 Cephei. However, his production and finish is masterly - from a technical standpoint.

Going in totally the opposite direction, how about Opiuo, Robo Booty? Another song to make you grin and a sure fire way to make sure everyone is happy when you're rolling. Dropped this track in a couple of times whilst rolling and people can't seem to get enough of it. Straight to the point, lovely and bouncy :)
