Dead to Me

Does anyone else, when another user they were particularly close to has been gone from a forum for a long time with no explanation, feel almost as if someone has died? I know how corny, dramatic, and odd it sounds but when you develop certain relationships with certain other people online it feels hard and hurting to no longer have that person in your life anymore. Of course they may or may not show up again at any time. But that doesn't stop me from feeling something like grief for them. People can leave without a moment's notice or word IRL too, of course. But for some reason it just feels different to me online.

I'm weird though, so maybe this is all cringe bullshit.

Yes a few,but most warned me they were leaving.Its an awful feeling,I'm concerned about a couple people now.I don't think I could do that to anyone unless I was dead.It's not cringe at all.I've put up certain walls at times,people have played like they died on other sites. Care about many here but I won't get close.

The bonds on bluelight can be surprisingly strong. Also the fact this is a drug site makes it so much worse because we know people do die sometimes of an overdose. There are a few people that were on here that I think about and can only hope they are okay.
