Daytrana

An ADHD patch? Interesting, never heard of it. Says it's for children 6-12yrs old.

Yes, Daytrana is methylphenidate in patch form. Its been around for a couple years at the least. I don't believe it can be abused like the Fentanyl patches with the gel so I guess the best way of taking them would be placing them on your skin. This being said, the only way of abuse would be placing a whole bunch on your skin.

you're supposed to put it on your hip. rotating sides every day. my friend used to be on these 30mg a day. he hated them because everyday it hurt like a bitch to take them off, especially if you didn't wait the full 9 hours of them. i seen him bleed taking a patch off after about 2-3 after putting it on.

i tryed 2 at once before (=60mg) and it was pretty nice, taking them off was definetely not fun though.

the having to take them off part is like a positive-negative. it hurts like all hell but if you don't feel like speeding anymore, you can take it off and most effects are gone within 1-2 hours.

This mite not be harm reduction and it can be deleted if harmful....but cutting up and chewing the patches is VERY effective. it also makes the mouth go numb (is MPH a local anastetic?) Anyway chewing them for a few minutes always worked better for me than putting the patch on. read the patch tho and see the TOTAL amount of ritalin in it.....the dose in bold is jsut what gets released not the entire ritalin content of the patch

yeah the number in bold is what gets released per hour.

does chewing it really work well? never heard of this and intrested to try it

Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to try the chewing method. I assume this takes away the time release. I will let you all know how it goes.

Wikipedia:

"A patch is preferable in cases where substance abuse is an issue, as a patch cannot easily be tampered with, but can still be distributed."
