Day after xanax + drinking

Last night I took 2.5mg of xanax to combat an adderall crash. I have heard that because xanax and alcohol potentiate each other so strongly, it is a good chance it will effect the alcohol I could drink tonight. I know I always feel a little mellow afterglow the day after taking xanax, so I want to say I still have a small amount actively floating in my system. I was planning on drinking 5-7 shots of vodka. I would be doing this ~20 hrs after dosing the xanax. How much of an effect will last nights dose have on the alcohol? Should I stick to 2-4 shots instead? Maybe a shot at a time and call it quits when I feel it?

drink away tonight man. unless you're bed ridden,you will have fully metabolized that xanax the half life is about 4.5 hours so theres barely a trace left running in there man. Good question though smart trying to stay safe!

I highly doubt you'll experience any potentiation/synergistic effect.
