I spent that last 2-3 days in bed, as if I had a bad form of the stomach flu. I even got a low grade fever. By no means was I comfortable, but I survived. Here's my back story:
5 years ago I began opiates. It started with codiene for a painful disorder and escalated to 10mg oxycodone. I would take more than I should every month and would cry to my doctor. I finally found Kratom which I used, in addition to oxycodone, as well as when I ran out. My Kratom usage was around 30grams a day for 2 years. 3 days ago, I went cold turkey......
As of day 3, I no longer have stomach issues, no depression, slight anxiety, but mostly just restlessness.
Here are some things that helped me:
Prozac: I started 20 mg a day about a week ago
Klonopin: My usual 1.5mg dose (I'll have to kick that one soon!)
Loperamide: Used day 2 only
Phenibut: Dosed day 1 and day 2
Tired of sitting around today, I drank some of my C4 pre-workout drink, which I believe has niacin. I used this product many times for a pre-workout boost. Today, it got me off my butt long enough to clean the house, listen to music and felt almost normal.
My only dilemma is that I suffer from two painful conditions and at times, narcotic pain medicine is the only thing that helps. However, I also suffer from depression and ptsd. I have a very addictive personality. How does one handle that?
I want to thank members of bluelight who has given me supportive words during this time. I'd also like to encourage anyone in my shoes to be strong and think of it as just a temporary illness that will subside. Don't cave in to cravings, either. Thanks and best of luck to everyone.
