Hi im 26 and for the last 3 months ive been tapering down from 1mg of suboxone and got down to .5-.25 the last month or so. its day 3 without anything I felt the withdraw the very first day I guess because the 3 days leading up to it I took hardly any, just enough to get me by. in the meantime ive been working out 3-5 times a week and weedeating 6-8 hrs a day to make a living. everyday for the last 3 days ive mustard up enough energy with the help of caffeine to exercise like normal vigorously. in these 3 days my symptoms have not gotten worse or better. light stomach discomfort, feeling weak and trouble sleeping have been the main issues. I have been able to get sleep on and off with the help of Xanax and Benadryl. I wake up usually every two to four hrs but end up with close to 8 hrs total of sleep. im just wondering if the worse is over and if theyre anything else I can do to speed it up. ill probably have to go back to work tomorrow and don't know if I can handle it. thanks for listening and any answers you might have.

Your post got moved over to Basic Drug Discussion. Honestly with such a long low taper your symptoms will probably be minimal. I'd expect that same level of discomfort for about an additional week to ten days. Then the psychological cravings and stuff afterwards. .25mg is a good stepping off point. Just soldier through.

thanks for the info man now on day four feeling a little more energy went for a run/walk made me feel a lot better. im also on wellbutrin for depression and craving that should help a lot from what a doc told me. I haven't had any cravings for subs or opiates thank God. praying I can keep it up and I will b done for good

Day 5 starting, still getting sleep. Hope I can workout again today. The worst comes of an evening I find that weird. But still eating. solid stool. No cravings for opiates still.

Started out shitty after my first post but once I got to the gym with the help of some caffeine and wore some weights out I was great. It's been my best day all week can't get worse from here

Suboxone=miracle drug-without it id still be horribly addicted with HORRIBLE side effects. Now you must reinforce all the positives of being off the Ops. If you are saying to yourself-id love to take an oxy but i cant. You will eventually LOSE that battle with yourself-100% Turn it to "damn im feeling so much better-so glad i got off that poison!"
Now you have a chance!

I def don't wish I had anything but I do wish these bouts of feelin like crap would vanish for good. I slept fine again worked out again but right on que this afternoon I started feelin like I had a stomach bug
