Maybe Todd Margaret, the character David Cross plays on his IFC series "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret," isn't the only one who makes mistakes. In a new Playboy interview, Cross admits that he was busted for snorting cocaine at a White House Correspondents' Dinner.

"It wasn't even that much cocaine. It was literally the size of, I don't know, a tick. It was a tiny granule of coke that I put on my wrist and said, 'Watch this. I need a witness,'" says Cross in the article.

"I ducked under the table and did it. It wasn't like I got high. The jolt was similar to licking an empty espresso cup. It wasn't about that. It was just about being able to say that I did it, that I did cocaine in the same room as the president. I'm not proud of it, nor am I ashamed of it."

Arrested Development star, David Cross, recently admitted that while attending the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, he snorted cocaine 65 feet away from President Obama.

“I ducked under the table and did it. It wasn’t like I got high. The jolt was similar to licking an empty espresso cup. It wasn't about that. It was just about being able to say that I did it, that I did cocaine in the same room as the President," Cross shares in an interview for next month’s Playboy.
The White House Correspondents Dinner is an annual event hosted by comedians. Previous hosts have included Seth Rogen and Stephen Colbert. Typically, the President gives a joke-riddled speech poking fun at opponents.

Cross admits that he chose to do the cocaine to win a bet with a friend. Although he doesn’t regret the act, he does feel bad about getting girlfriend, Amber Tamblyn, involved.

If the president wanted to get high, how would he go about getting the drugs? Would he ask one of the agents assigned to protect him to go get some or maybe one of his friends.........always wondered about that, I mean, we all know they have sex with as many women as they can get their hands on so im thinking they also indulge in drugs as well...............not all but some.
 
TheLostBoys - I Imagine he calls up one of his guys in the DEA and asks them to bring some recent seizures round for him to inspect or whatever, then they all do loads of cocaine and laugh at the poor.
 
They probably laugh about how they've set a large portion of society to be fucked in terms of the future. Maybe not fucked, but times are definitely dark. Not to say I don't have hope for the future but this "change" bullshit went nowhere.
 
hahaha niiiiice. when i was in ireland a few years back i happened to be in killkenny for the murphys cat laugh festival and ended up running into david cross after the show and he took my friends and i out to some bar with a huge line around the building and he walked up and he was like they are with me and we all just walked in lol. it was awesome. hes actually the only famous person ive ever met in real life haha
 
hope he went on some psychotic rampage dressed as mrs. featherbottom furiously singing and cleaning the oval office.. Maybe if it had been amphetamine, David Cross comes across as a bit of a moron. It would be like me going on a tour of 10 Downing street or buckingham palace and doing the same.. and you'd have to be about 15 to think it was even cool or funny.

He's in DC.... he only has to ride a few blocks from the White House to run into some of the most prolific open-air drug markets. And Marion Barry lives on a street with an open-air market. He could call ANYONE even remotely familiar with SE/SW DC to obtain anything from crack to herb to dope to PCP to herb and on and on and on.
