First off, I must say if you like acoustic/jam music and have never listened to Dave Matthews Band its a must
Second, whats your favorite song by them?

My favorite song is Ants Marching.......best album is Under the Table and Dreaming. "Goes to visit his mommy.....:)

Song #41 is really good,Tripping Billies is amazing... I liked everything until the single "don't drink the water" came out...then "gravedigger" made me give up listening to the new stuff.

Ah, I think Live at Luther College is one of his best CD's. My current favorite song by him is Eh Hee Live At Piedmont Park. But how can one not like Gravedigger?

My fav right now, that popped into my head, is "Cry Freedom"

But, "Halloween," and its history, nd Dave's passion when he sings it ive, is amazing.

I used to play it out at bars and scream and yell cause I had a similar situation and could relate very well... at first people were a bit taken aback... then they started listening the second time I played it.

They have made so many good songs.

All albums with Tim Reynolds are great, but Lillywhite Sessions has its own depressive, introspective, yet observant side to it that just blows my fucking mind...

Kit Kat Jam... ignoarnt little girls

Halloween is absolutely amazing, I just learned how to play it the other day (Very easy).

I haven't had a chance to listen to Lillywhite Sessions, I will have to check it out.

Also, nice name.

I really enjoyed the Lillywhite sessions. I think DMB is best on the live albums. Everyone in the band really shines through on the live stuff. Right now I've been listening to live at Mile High, great album. Tim Reynolds blows my mind on several songs.

Tim Reynolds is well beyond our time.... he is a master of many instruments; both stringed and other.... he is a master of music period.

AND he LOOOOOVES his psychedelics... he used to spend hiw time teaching Dave Matthews how to play guitar in Dave's mom's basement and listen to music in his own basement while eating shrooms....

now he just smokes mad herb

also, he and LeRoi were main composers for the early albums

I could tell Tim loves psychedelics... Doesn't Dave also like his herb? I heard at one of the earlier shows Dave did a guy brought a blunt on stage for Dave to hit
