I am going to be growing Datura and Brugmansia, but purely to witness this 'Night Blooming' and also because they are so beautiful, but I SURELY wont be tripping on them
But hey, cut this boy some slack ppl, he understands that acting in an irresponsible way is dangerous, he's clearly not retarded, and what 16 year old wants to learn from other peoples mistakes????
I know I didnt.
Hey, thanks! I also like the way they bloom at night, the scent spreads everywhere it's delicious. They are very sensitive to heat, during the day they seem dead but when the night comes they go back to their full pungent beauty.
The flowers are more "active" at night most likely because the plant may present zoophilia, more precisely chiropterophilia; as pollination method. I'm not sure about this, but I've seen bats flying around at night and in fact I was shitted on by one the other day at night (don't laugh please it was sort of disgusting).
