Datura

narutoken, your general style reminds me of a guy i used to run with back in the day (in fact whenever i read your posts i look for hints that you are him but i think you're too young btw this is not a jab at you i loved this fucking guy like a brother) now this guy LOVED himself some datura, in fact, I think he was the only person ever, to my knowledge, to become addicted to the stuff such that he had physical withdrawal symptoms (really). he got arrested for doing some kind of exorcism that involved burning datura plants around midnight on a major interstate if i recall correctly. a really thoroughly bad time was had by all. so please don't IV datura, or any unrefined or home-refined plant product for that matter, and now that i've totally derailed my thought process, some interesting reading is to be had here
on "intravenous marijuana syndrome" ... which has to do with IVing plant material. apparently it's bad for your health. oh and anticholinergics are bad for you.

and the plants are beautiful :)

Oh then nice flowers bro. I have them growing in my garden as well. I was surprised when I found out they were a potent anticholinergic when I was browsing Erowid a long time ago. Quite strange such a beautiful flower contains such dangerous chemicals as opposed to a flower such as the Poppy.

I must say you got fucking balls for deciding to indulge in Datura. I wouldn't touch that shit if I was paid to.

Datura should never be taken imo unless you're a hardcore shaman that is used to that serious of an effect and you have multiple sitters that can watch you. It's seriously bad stuff.
 
lol, as a practicing herbalist, I can tell you that 10-20 mg is usually safe, won't get you high though, but it can help you stop sneezing. ;)

Nice plants to look at though.

I made use of it once and i had 2 sitters, and i won't even begin to retell the storry where that took me. I don't regtet it, but i know for sure what i will not try again anytime soon. Nothing dangerous, but nothing pleasant either.

Please don't get high on them unless you know what you're doing. And i bet 95% of all people here don't. No offense guys ;)
 
well one, yes, was locked away in the nut house for over a year and when he got out he was still batshit crazy. talking to himself and invisible entities and shit. full on conversations. the other....?
the other is still hallucinating and high on the shit XX years later

You really don't want to do that shit unless you have a sober sitter for about three days. And don't go out in public either as you'll be talking to people who aren't there and not making any sense and smoking imaginary cigarettes. friend of mine did it. He says it made him really depressed almost the whole time.
 
God, Datura is one drug you will never forget. It's a fucking bizzare trip. I had whole conversations with people I hadn't thought about in years, but it was just a figment of my imagination. At one point I felt like I was dying. It is the only drug I've done that I've had true hallucinations with, and it can kinda fuck you up for several days after with seeing real clear phosphine patterns. I did a shit load of research before doing it and nothing could have prepared me. There is really nothing like it.

Yeah I bet, I mean I never went into a dose high enough for a trip, but the residual side effects are really weird. Not to mention the stuff makes you get the worst dry mouth ever haha! =D

either way dude, takin datura doesnt seem to be recommended by anyone i know or have heard of, and from what i hear, its not a trip, but it makes you clinically insane for a few days (maybe an exageration) but the trip resports ive read ont it were people beleiving what they were seeing to the point of them thinking it was actually reality.

but on top of alllllll that you wanna slam it?

Yeesh people automatically jump on this poor kid as soon as he posts something. In his original post, and cocurrent posts, he never talked about wanting to eat the flowers, nor SLAM the flowers, either. It was just alluded to, as a sick joke I suppose, in one of the replies to his OP, which aparently was intended just to show off his gardening skills. Guys gotta lay off him, bashing him nonstop for no real reason will just drive him from this site, and may effect the harm-reduction you all have been drilling him with lately.

I have followed his posts, like many of you have too, and he has done some crazy batshit things, but this post was quite innocent. There seem to be many judgemental people here, which is strange for the main subjects of this website.

BTW, nice job on your gardening, flowers look beautiful. I wish I had the skill to garden, but I can't even grow weeds :p
