Datura Tripping?

This stuff sounds really fucked up. It's like something that would be too scary to want to try yet for some reason I'm intrugied. 8)

IF you try datura in any form, make sure you have a sober trip-sitter who is prepared and able to physically restrain you when you become confused and violent, and/or take you to hospital in the event of a medical emergency.

Datura is no joke, it really IS that strong. Read everything you can.

I would not recommend concentrating datura tea really...Even with the eye dropper technique, I find the more you concentrate it, the more volatile the potency....And also it is good to have a decent water content so as for it to be able to disperse in the bloodstream more evenly, and so as to be able to urinate more easily to remove these toxins afterwards.....Also, it is advisable to get an experienced datura tripper to dautura sit for you as they will have more of an understanding of the state of mind you will be in...That's it really, just trying to make sure no one goes blind/insane/or dies on this stuff...Plus, don't EVER do it recreationally, a spiritual mind set beforehand will have a marked difference..And if you are experienced with lucid dreaming, this could come in handy....Though goey will keep you in a lucid state I find...but it will stop you getting to a certain phase...

another good method to stop ingesting too much is to concentrate your tea as much as possible.then drink the above amount till the user begins to trip...

Wouldn't the best method be to dilute your tea as much as possible, then take small sips untill required.

There's too much room for mistakes if concentrated.

Why is most Datura discussion only about the plant.

I have seen medicines with both scopolamine and atropine as the active ingredients, and thus a pure form at that.

Surely this beats any ingestion of weird concoctions containing not only those ingredients but a host of potentially other toxins contained in the plant.

Wouldnt a known dose of pure scopolamine be a more advised iniative if anyone is silly enough to try.
I must say though i have found it almost impossible to locate exact dose information on it - it is weird because other similar plant drugs, such as salvinorin from Salvia and Mescaline from peyote generally have the info for both amount of plant needed and mass amount of pure drug.

just thought i'd add my two cents

one of my friends had this stuff and when he went to the bathroom he looked in the mirror and saw himself, but dead...he freaked out big time at this and thought he was going to die or was already dead.

its a very dangerous drug, i think that you will find that the bad outweigh the good......try another psychedelic that you know will be relatively safe

Datura is something one tries after they have done most other psychaedelics....And even then, I've had acid heads who've probably consumed tabs by the thousands tell me "...But I wouldn't touch datura, man"

I was chatting to this friend of a friend oneday. He was telling me about an incident when he was on Datura, in which for 4 straight days he could not remember anything, the experience was frightening total hour lasting hallucinations with no recollection of what was going on. He started his nite somewhere in Sydney, 4 days later he was found roaming around somewhere in regional NSW. Total head fuck confusion, also claimed that the Datura has permantely made one of his eyes much darker than the other. He was found by a store owner opening up shop one morning, he took the bloke straight to the hospital, claimed that he had been bashed severely , had all types of bruises. no money, no idea of where he was still, clothes ripped, dirty. In hospital they had to wait till he came off the drug , to try and get a phone number or some id.

Any drug that can have that effect on you, is just outright suicide, i understand the phrase ' There are no bad trips, just bad trippers' but is ur life really worth losing over an exeperience like that. I SHOULD THINK NOT!

^ It's interesting how many Datura stories sound exactly like that. I'd have to take a long time to prepare myself for that kind of experience. Probably forever hehe.
