Misc Date on vodka bottle

We found a date on a bottle of vodka. We're not worried about weather its gone bad - we just want to know if it is the day it was bottled or expiration date? Son says expiration date. What do you think.

There's no reason to post the same thread several times with slightly different names, everyone's thread has equal value and will get answered when it's answered. Plus it's obvious when people see the same general thread name, and then see the same user account started them all, that's how you get infractions/ banned.

Generally it's the time of when the liquor was bottled as most liquors, if stored properly, should only get better with age. I'm not sure if there's such thing as an expiration date for most liquors to be honest...
