Database errors

I keep getting database errors when I post. The post goes through, but I get an error message. What's going on?

Also, some boards seem to be displaying weird -- the "Last Post By" is acting up.

Sorry guys, we're looking in to this, I wish I could give you more explanation but at this point, we dont really know ourselves It is being looked in to though.

Unfortunatly it turns out it was a Y2K cicada. All staff have been armed with fly swatters so we should be okay shortly. Female staff are also being directed to allow stronger male counterparts to access their account and kill bugs if needed. Meanwhile I am just hoping that my drunk posts from this morning will get rolled back and never have happened.

I, and every other female staff member that I know of, can handle our fly swatters just fine, thankyouverymuch!

Just an update for everyone, this issue has been fixed by our engineer. She was able to catch this one quickly, it sounds like. The other glitches are still being worked on, hopefully they'll be solved soon, but you should not get any more "database error" messages.

the database error was not very informative this time round, all it actually said was 'database error' - vbulletin must have employed the same guy who writes the error messages for AVG anti virus
