Darkdev's Methylone (BK-MDMA) Guide

Upon examination I noticed that methylone has a chiral center. When you purchase it online, or off of people, are you getting a racemic mixture? Is only one enantiomer active while the other is harmless? Anyone got a clue? Just curious.
 
^good question. people seems to be so little concerced with knowning what theyre actually putting into their body. this is crutial info cuz what if theyre cutting agent is toxic to the lungs or not good to inject.
 
I had my first experience with bkMDMA a couple weekends ago, it was great. 3x200-300mg doses (eyeballed) throughout the night kept me going from ~9pm to 6am when the party ended. I found redosing to be much more effective than with MDMA and I was glowing the next day instead of feeling hungover. All in all a fun drug, even better that I got it for free from a friend :]
 
Should methylone be white or tan? I have a totally white crystal like powder, but i've read it should be a little yellowish or tanish. But wouldn't white be more pure?
 
Just like MDMA, it can come in any color, and color and consistency is no guarantee of contents of "purity".
 
Very interesting post. I would be down to try some, but seeing as how it can interfere with MDMA tolerance and what not, I think I'll pass. Maybe next year.

I guess there is a possibility that an enantiopure form of the drug could have a different effect then a racemic one. But then there is the possibility that the desired enantiomer could convert to it's mirror image in vivo. I'm sure many of you already know all of this, I'm just repeating what I read. So who knows what type of compound anyone is getting anyway. BTW I am assuming you are correct when you say methylone has a chiral center, I didn't look. Either way these seem like questions that should have some answers, and like is anyone else imagining there could be a single-enantiopure form of methylone that wouldn't have as many adverse effects?
