The light suceeds to the darkness
The darkness envelops me as a whole
My world diminishes
Nothing left but an abyss

An abyss filled with sorrow and pain
All the anger and rage built up over years
Lying in this valley together
As a terrorizing reality

As it reaches for me I cringe
I feel the pain again
In the pit of my stomach
I thought it was locked away

Away with the thoughts and dreams
Of that dreadful abyss
I thought all the sorrow was gone
I had closed it out, didn't I?

Obviously not, the demon swells inside
Hovering like a vulture to it's prey
Just waiting for me to fold over
Then dive in for the kill

I've finally found the strength to face you
