okay, lets just say that i have access to a semi-proffesional dark room....are their any chemicals that might be sitting around in their which could produce a safe (or semi-safe), cheap, fun high??? the only reason i'm wondering about this is, while researching "research chemicals," i noticed that they had many practical uses....ie, video-head cleaner, dust remover, etc......
...so, make fun of me, give advice, whatever!

Some of them may have uses in synthesizing drugs. But not to get high on. As for some "research chemicals" having legitimate uses. Thats just to protect the asses of those that sell it. You can't say "This drug gets you high!" Because it will then fall under the drug analog act and is illegal. When you say its for cleaning your VCR heads, its not to be consumed and is legal.

Um, they *MARKET* these recreational drugs as "video head cleaner" or "paint stripper" - in reality they are rarely, if ever used for this...
Now you don't have anything that could get you high as-is, but photograph developing is the IDEAL field to work in if you want to make drugs, as the industry uses tons of chemicals that can be used to make things like MDMA, meth, etc... so if that intrests you, then you might be in luck, but otherwise none of that stuff will get you high!
