dangers of using cheap lighters for smoking

im new to bluelight but it seems like a badass site with a lot of sick information and chill people.. but im just wondering can using cheap gas station lighters to smoke weed and cigs cause any health problems? my friend is trying to tell me that the butane and the flint can cause brain damage and other health issues but im having a heard time believing that

I don't know about all that cheap lighter talk. What would be the difference between what they use as opposed to Bic.

welcome fellow newbie - but no - cheap lighters vs good lighters - its really all pretty much the same materials

butane burns clean in that sense and the flint has nothing to do with the flame itself other than lighting the butane

The only thing I noticed with those cheap lighters is sometimes they will stay lit after you release the button..some of them are like blow torches too haha! They just seem more dangerous in that sense. But I don't think inhaling it is any different than any other lighter. You may just get more of the gas coming out at once.
