The scenario is this: I had a bag of 4-fa in next to my reagents and some reagents ( dont know which) spilled on the baggie. It was a mirrored/ static-free baggy.
I was scared because the silver mirrored part of the baggie had come off, making me think that some reagent had gotten into the baggy. however, upon inspection it appears the baggy was well sealed and simply the outside silver layer was damaged while the plastic held strong. The seal on the bag was also completely shut.
I realized before making this post that if reagent had gotten on my 4-fa it would likely have reacted and my 4-fa would have been colored as opposed to plain white, as it is. So this points to the contents being undamaged right?
Still I thought I should ask, what would you guys do, and what dangers am I looking at if a very small amount of some reagent made it into my 4-fa. I am assuming that it would not be a large enough amount of anything to do any real damage but still thought I should ask. Also the fact that my product remains white suggests it is perfectly safe.
Also the baggy was slightly damp with reagent and upon handling my hand burned and I promptly washed my hand and the baggy off under soap and water.
