dangerous cannabis interactions?

Well, we all know cannabis combines quite *well* with a number of other compounds. It certainly potentiates opioids, benzodiazepines, psychedelics, alcohol and a range of other substances for many users.

My question is simple: does anyone know of any physically dangerous interactions between cannabis and any other drug, licit or illicit? Are there any particular compounds which should not be mixed with cannabis, either in excess or at all?

Any compound that lowers blood glucose levels is contraindicated for cannabis. It can increase the likelihood of hypoglycemia.

I don't like to mix. I've done acid once, but did not like it. Smoked weed on it and it did not change anything else. Ecstacy was not a problem, but I've only done it once and only once. Smoking weed on ecstacy made me roll harder it seemed like.
The infamous adderal is not to bad with weed if you have the right dosage of each.

As for others, I'm not a heavy drug user, but my sweet mary jane is an exception.

cannabis and being diabetic (no shugar for ur baked ass lol),or cannabis and anorexia (prob the worst combo ever im sure),cannabis and impotency ,those arnt drugs, but im sure that would be a loose loose situation

^That may be the case, but that doesn't necessarily mean that cannabis can't interact unfavorably with some other compounds.

DXM and Cannabis seems to have unique pharmacological interactions, especially in recreational doses of DXM. DXM has been found to downregulate cannabinoid receptors through an unknown mechanism.

Subjectively, mixing DXM and Cannabis does not created the typical "layered" experience that is common when mixing drugs, it seems to create a completely new experience. Different body high, different and much more detailed hallucinations, different headspace, etc. It is akin to the sensory overload attained from classical serotonergic psychedelics (colorful visuals, etc), combined with the sensory deprivation of dissociatives, and then your brain trying to handle both at once.

HIGHLY recommended--just don't fall asleep!

alcohol for some.

I find, contrary to what others have said, stims mix fine with tree. In fact, I probably won't have fun on adderall unless I've got plenty of green.

Mixing cannabis and cocaine causes an unnecessary strain on your heart. I used to mix the two when I was younger but now I don't because I just makes me too paranoid.

cocaine is an unnecessary strain on your heart...

I'm not sure it's the weed that is pushing it over the edge... just sayin'.

there has never been a cannabis OD - this includes combining it with other things..

No it doesn't, lots of people have died with cannabis in their system, it just hasn't been indicated to be the direct cause of their death. A lethal combination wouldn't be a "cannabis OD".

blow raises your BP but adding weed to the mix makes your heart beat faster as well. i have to say blow + weed is probably my most loathed drug combo ever

Does cannabis actually substantially potentiate stimulants' effects on the heart or does cannabis just make the user feel that way?

Citation for the mechanism of action? I have also experienced this psychedelic synergy that was unique from merely combining the subjective experiences of DXM and cannabis. I would recommend a tryptamine or phenethylamine over DXM+cannabis though.
