Anyone notice Dancesafe hasn't updated their results in mad long? It says it was updated Dec 7th but it hasn't been updated since late november. You would think all this recent exposure they would have a lot more pill reports.... Cmon guys!
 
EXCUSE ME...I hate to seem rude... but where does anyone get off dissin DanceSafe because they haven't posted test results fast enough for you? DanceSafe has a million other things to do and are doing things as fast and efficiently as they can! And yes, they have recieved a lot of media attention lately, which makes their jobs even more hectic than before! If they take too long for you maybe you should donate some of your precious time to help post pill reports for them! Otherwise, you need to appreciate and recognize all they do for so many people...including you!
 
Hey sunraver..lay of the crystal bruh! You don't need to get your panties in a bunch. I was just sayin they've been slackin. I know they are doing things, I personally know a couple of people over there since their website interacts with the co. I work for. So chill out and learn some respect to other members, I don't know you and this post wasn't directed derogitory in any way towards you.. WELL NOW IT IS!!! Lay off the crystal or coke or whatever speed you took when you answered my post.

I prefer the serious discussion.
We haven't seen many discussions about DS here yet so let's take the opportunity to say something useful.

I personally think the faster the results are posted, the more reason to post them. I mean if it takes a long time to post, the results may not affect people

I think DS is an awesome thing I mean how many ppl are gonna test your pills for you and give you free water when you cant afford $2-$5 for some! Also they don't look down on you for what you do they just try to inform about it. Great idea to whomever started it! PLUR!

I think dance safe does great work. Before you flame for this next statment, hear me out.
I feel that dance safe would be doing more towards its harm reduction goal if they only reported and listed adulerated/bunk pills. The reason I say this:
1)Many people use dancesafe to try to indentify good pills "going around" in a period or area. This could influence pill pressers to copycat pills that have good reputations as well as misleading people to think their pill is safe since they they just saw it on dancesafe. I know this happens because even this last weekend I was told that someone that their pills were ok since they were listed on DS.
2)By not reporting "quality pills" they would encourage more people to buy test kits to personally test pills thus raising more money to further the work they are doing.

i think that you have a valid argument. Dancesafe is doing a great service, but they might be seriously misleading people into assuming they have good pills just because the same brand is listed as "safe" on the site. It's especially strange since they sell their own brand of testing kit. Would they sell more kits if they only posted bunk pills?
I'm figuring that they post good pills and bad pills because people are generous enough to send Dancesafe their pills, and they would want to know the pills' contents regardless being good or bad. I would want to know if I sent one in.

Anyone notice that the BL pill reports are getting shitty too? A few months ago I trusted most of the posts and now I think alot of them are just bullshit. Too many dealers posting and hyping up their pills.
 
There is a disclaimer at the end of the pill testing reports page which clearly states that just because you have the same stamped pill or a similar pill doesnt mean that it is the same pill. it is the exact reason why dancesafe measures the ppills and posts the location of where the pills come from.
also, the local chapters only are to post bunk pill reports. this way, teh national office has all the reports and the information is not misleading for the more local reports.
