How come the color chart doesn't list purple for a positive result? I think it's pretty common to get a dark violet, especially around the edges or when smeared. Personaly, I have tested several known good sources of mdma and it always goes fizz, jet black, and then at around 15 seconds purple starts to form around the edges.

The purple color of the puddle usually appears black. So black/purple is a positive reaction, some people say it looks more black than purple.

I had the same situation as you, delay and then purple. Was excited at first but turned out to be shitty. Guess it needs to go black

I think the reactions sometimes differ depending on what fillers or cutting agent the supplier uses. I have also had good mdma go a dark violet immediately with hardly hardly any black.

you wanna have a light underneath the petri dish (or whatever glass--see through dish you do you r reaction in)
so that way you can see the true color better. just make sure its actually a WHITE light and not a fluorescent or other off white bulb
