Damned benzo tollerance.

This thread is just unbelievable, I'd just like to say. I used to get grams of alprazolam powder and maybe take up to 10 mg a day but taking 100 mg????? Wouldn't you just die??

Nah benzo's are insanely hard to overdose on (and they carry no physically damaging effects at stupidly high doses), I'm guessing that's partly why they replaced other hypnotics.
 
^ Until you mix them with another CNS depressant. Then you're fucked.

It isn't really hard to get alprozolam powder, and to be fair, your ability to acquire drugs isn't really something to boast about.
Congratulations on being able to have alpozolam powder and not put yourself in a 3 day coma though, that's far more than I could do.
Do you put it in solution?
Are you addicted by the way?
If you could constantly get alprozolam powder and didn't escalate your dose, would you be able to maintain a harmless addiction to it, without it overly impacting on your life too much?
 
Actually FYI, the above-mentioned fiasco was noted to impart the idea that the drug seems to be somewhat forgiving of Darwin Award aspirants.

Not something I'm at all proud of, in fact one of the more outlandishly stupid things I've ever done. I continue to take alprazolam at 2 mg twice a week for insomnia, and on those nights I can expect a good 8 hours of sleep. The schedule is self-imposed so I don't become addicted, and the rest of the week I deal with the 3-4 hours/night.
 
take a break for longest: use soma and other things like gabapentin, catapres, anti depressants and major tranquilizers: pines and prams etc.

Or u could get detoxed off benzo's in rehab only some places do it cause its $200 just for the medicaton: its called benzo flush its the antidote for benzo overdose. its on wikipedia
 
the only thing i remember is tat the firsrt....and i mean the first time i tried benos (triazolam) i took me 3 to 4 blue pills to actully feel the high....then half and hour later i was asleep.

can weed, alcohol or methamphetmine inteact with benzo tollerance? cuz i used to take a lot of it.

oh wait, alcohol is!

why not look to see if there's any cross tolerance? Google is your friend.
 
since this is an ADVANCED drug discussion, i hope i might get more valuable answers here.

anyway..i'll take your advice..ill start roaming on google for valuable undreliable information.

I am in the exact same predicament as the original poster. earlier tonight I also took 12 2mg Clonazepams and felt very little. I used to take LARGE doses of different benzo's daily so I understood the tolerance at the time, But currently I do not even use once a week, some times I only use one every 3 weeks but my tolerance is still SKY high.
 
try,.....this:)

try a benzo flush using the antidote check my other threads. try using phenibut it makes benzos last longer.. or stop and use something else if u get the same problems all the time use other drugs for ya problems try not to use any drug 2 days or more in a row to avoid tolerance look up half lifes of the benzos and wait till the out ya system before using again.
drug rotation and shitty tapering which i am so against. but an idealistic maniac :p
 
I don't have any advice but I feel your pain. I likely would have to eat 20mg Xanax to get anything. Really, I just had to quit. It can take a REALLY long time for get your tolerance reset, and after that it comes back and comes back QUICK!
 
Weird thin is that even after months my tollernce seems to be the same.
Anyone knows how GABAa recetors might upregulate again?

I recall reading a small article saying that glutamic acid supplements tend to up regulate GABAa receptors. is that actually true?
 
I've taken benzos, several times a week, for years, and my tolerance hasn't really moved. I also drink heavily. 1mg of xanax still has the same anxiolytic effect as it always has. I have stuck mainly to xanax, which has a short half-life. I believe this is the reason that my tolerance is still low. I've been through several GBL withdrawals, that have meant I have took 30+mg of xanax in a day, or hundreds of milligrams of diazepam, and other benzos, and it's made no difference to my tolerance. Perhaps I am lucky. If I didn't have anxiety, maybe I could stop benzos altogether. I think that some people's GABA-A receptors are just far better at upregulating than others.
 
My Benzo tolerance goes up just after a few days of use. It sucks. And i refuse to take more because i end up doing stupid things on high doses or like i said in another post, i can't remember shit and/or i end up sleeping for 12 hours and pissing a day away.

I don't have any advice on how to lower benzo tolerance. I only know how to potentiate opiates and i don't think the same tricks apply to benzo's. Maybe Grapefruit juice does, i don't know.
