A top Premier League footballer who tested positive for cocaine is set to be named tonight in a Channel 4 investigation into drug use among soccer stars. The player, who will be exposed in the channel's Dispatches, completed a ‘multi-million-pound’ transfer without the buying club knowing he had tested positive for cocaine.

In all honesty, as shady as this is I don't mind these guys gettin screwed over, who needs £200'000 a week? especially for being good at kicking a ball!

i prefer to refer to Footballers as the following:- A bunch of vain, illiterate, millionare, borderline-rapists whose job it is to shepherd a bit of leather into an outdoor cupboard.
 
luulz. A popular person that does coke?!?! certainly a first of his kind. Hopefully the kids that look up to the multi million "pound" player (lol sounds alittle funny to me, Im canadian eh) learn a lesson from him and don't start using the same drugs as their idols.
 
If you think that sounds funny, try using our most common British English slang for the pound. "Multi-million quid"
 
At some point, naming masses of drug users who participate actively in society will have the opposite result:
it will finally break through to the mindless public that nearly everyone is a drug user.
Because of some restrictive laws, which were created through pandering to large corporations and overzealous proselytizers of "the correct way to live" (usually = Christianity),
users of certain drugs are celebrated and users of others derided, jailed, and killed.
 
"Correct way to live"? But Jesus turned water into wine. If he were alive today he'd be cooking 'cid :)

I love wasting time money and brain cells on something so fucking unimportant as celebrities using drugs. Oh noez thats never happened ever.

You wouldn't believe some of the retarded slang around england! I don't understand the whole canadian/american dollar thing. Are they interchangable or what?

You could just name any random football star and it wouldn't be any different than specifically selecting ones you know do drugs.
