I am curious about the Health side-effects of IVing pills. I have read captain heroin's guide to micron filtering and found it very helpful =) ..I currently use a wheel filter made by scientific strategies with every shot located here: http://www.amazon.com/Syringe-Filter-PVDF-diameter-0-2um/dp/B005T45FZM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326008423&sr=8-1

I do about 2 shots of the 8mil dilaudids and the 30mil roxies a day for a few weeks straight then taper myself off towards the end of my binge( which means I'm running low on pills) so that I may stop cold turkey after about a 4miligram shot of dilaudid. I am just curious if i continue this lifestyle what kind of physical health side effects come with it. I know people die of shooting up pills from the binders and inactive ingredients which led me to reading the micron filtering forum. So I guess my main question is: are pills IVed through .2 micron filters safe for everyday use? I am curious to know if anything bad passes through those filters? Also on some of the other forums people say to buy the whatman name brand micron filters. I find these to expensive for my budget and am wondering if the ones I currently use are just as efficient? any feedback from experienced and longtime users of IVing pills via micron filters would be appreciated =] thanks and have a nice day !

You are going to have some pretty seriouy withdrawals compared to what you are used to

And some stuff like aids for instance I beleive can still pass through those filters..but most bacteria is filtered out and is larger than .22um. Those are the best wheels to buy for shooting pills. You will come out with a crystal clear looking shot of nice dilly or oxy

If you taper, you want to end at the smallest doses possible before you 'jump off'. A proper taper would have you IV 1 or 2mg (MAX) hydromorphone on the last couple days of your taper. If you're tapering off of hydromorphone/oxycodone (short half-lives) - You can do it quite comfortably within 2-3 weeks. There are plenty of threads on tapering but if a doctor won't script you things to help - look at qcquiring some loperamide (Immodium) (for physical GI symptoms), benzodiazepines (for sleep/anxiety/restlessness), diphenhydramine/orphenadrine/hydroxyzine (anti-cholinergic antihistamines for sleep), clonidine (for hot/cold chills). The loperamide is always a must. The rest aren't really mandatory at all but I'd grab benzos.

JHaja yeah good point capt H! You should be fine with that clear solution, aside from th ehuge problem youve just created!! loll

I have tapered off of them all the time with no problems. I think what led me to posting this thread was that I just recently got a batch of the V4812 generic 30mil roxies. This generic brand even when filtered through the .2 um micron filter still comes out bright blue. I am wondering what I am putting into my veins? My best guess would be the "FD&C Blue No. 1" listed on pill identifier website? Not sure if I should be concerned about this? Or maybe should I try to steer clear from this generic brand? Or I was also thinking maybe it could be because the micron filters I am purchasing are an inferior product compared to other name brands like Whatman. I was previously getting m30's which when filtered through the micron filters came out crystal clear.

I have read about other people saying th esame thing..the dye is much darker in those V pills and the solution doesnt come out perfectly clear from a micron.,if you look at how much darker the pill is than a m30 its not surprising. You know..I want to say being that you are microning it you are probably safe (well as safe as can be)to shoot. The reason I say is I know I ahve micron filtered suboxone (the orange pills) and some orange just a slight translucent tinge is left behind. Actually captian heroin posted pics once I think he microns some sub and its orange too..and I know he prepares and shoots suboxone on the reg and it has that slight orange tinge left behind. It's nothing like if you were to cotton filter..MUCH CLEANER.

A lot of people just cotton filter (not sayin gthats ok.. it's really not) and the solution comes out MUCH bluer..like its some magical smurph dope

ah yeah yeah, great to hear some feedback from experience/knowledge. Hearing about other people getting a little bit of tint in their IV solutions makes me feel better. Yes I do agree the pills are way more dark blue then any of the other brands. I wonder what even causes a company to want to put blue die into a prescription drug that has no medical effect whatsoever. Thanks for your 2cents homeslice =] This is my first experience with this brand so it scared me a little coming from Iving the m30's but its not like I will be getting these kind for the rest of time. Cheers and happy nodding! B)

thanks to starshowers as well for your input on tapering. I usually jump off after a 4mil dilly shot but maybe i'll try getting a lil lower next time to see if it works out better. I'm usually to stingy about my dope to waste more on tapering though ahah. I will definitely give that tapering forum a read though! =] and yes I agree about the aids. Benzo's are always a must for me as well after coming off opiate binges.

Yeah it's for sure the coloring agent; the coloring agent will tint the solution a color, while still leaving it clear.

If there's chalky particles floating around, that will be seen separately from the coloring agent.
