Hi, I've been shooting meth for a year now, I believe ive been self medicating. It helped me finish my last year of college and i just graduated in May! However, my family and girlfriend do not know about it and I'm going to the doctor today and going to tell him about it. Any suggestions on medicine that may help me stop. I've got a full time job so i cant just dedicate a week to sleeping. I sleep everynight on the drug and eat on it as well. I think I'm just immune. Bupropion is the anti depressant my doc put me on a couple years ago and i took it for a while then I picked up again and just stopped.
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU

besides sleepiness and hunger, most meth WDs for me were, while extremely powerful, mostly psychological and not physical. Focus on what matters, and getting clean. Focus on the fact that you no longer NEED it and stay strong bud. You can always try to "replace" it with something for a week or so but thats not the best advice in my opinion. You wont get sick or anything youll just feel like shit. Hang in there buddy!

There is no official, physical dependency caused by methamphetamine usage, but if you quit, you will probably feel tired and bored and want to resume your habit. You can also expect to sleep more than usual during this transition period. The cravings usually subside with time, but I don't think they ever really go away.
