A teenage boy died of head injuries after he fell down a flight of stairs while high on super-strength cannabis.

Yesterday the coroner at his inquest hit out at those who seek to trivialise drug use.

David Norkett, 17, bought the cannabis from dealers loitering outside a shop.

These are the kind of small-time criminals who could escape a jail sentence under the Government’s controversial new sentencing guidelines.

Coroner Peter Bedford said cannabis was the most likely cause of David’s death and called for greater awareness of the drug’s harmful effects.
He said: ‘Can we say that, if he hadn’t had cannabis, he wouldn’t have fallen?

The trio then went to a multi-storey car park in Reading, and smoked several joints.

His friends later told police that while they began ‘laughing and giggling,’ David was affected the most.

They said he became ‘hyper,’ crouching down and apparently deliberately hyperventilating before suddenly standing to bring on a fainting fit.

Seconds later, the inquest heard, he staggered backwards and fell head-first down the stairwell.

WOW so the kid was passing himself out and killed himself and because he was smoking pot they blame it on that. GTFO with that horseshit. This kid was obviously a fucking retard to begin with.
 
Maybe we should blame the person who designed the house for letting there be stairs there in the first place. It seems about as logical as tying it to the cannabis itself. 8(

From what i just read it was a multi story car park, not a house, but yeah i get your point.

So if they [he] had a few [alcoholic] drinks and did the same would there be the same kind of article i wonder...???
 
I think the Daily Mail has just convinced most of their readers that the Daily Mail has failed. If they didn't know already.

This has got to be the most emphatic kick-in-the-teeth I've seen from the reader comments to date.
 
Seems the daily fails getting pretty desperate, the quality of stories (whilst always maintaining a nice low quality) seem to be dropping & dropping. Thesel atest ones just seem like trivial attacks more than anything.

& anybody who does that stupid thing where you make yourself pass out, is retarded imo. Especially when done on top of a multi story car park. -.-
 
Somebody left a Daily Mail on top of the stairs and he slipped on it.
