i watch all the daft punk videos from the 2007 tour on utube w/ the pyrmid thing and i cant help but wonder.. are they going to be touring in 2008?
 
are they doing a tour in 08, i think rolling or candy flipping at a daft punk show would be up there with the greatest things ever
 
So, who has actually been to the Daft Punk Alive show?

I went December last year and it was absolutley mind blowing. The most magnificent visual spectacle I have ever witnessed. Awesome stuff.
 
i've seen it twice - once at coachella '06 (which was, i think the debut of that set?). i also saw them last year at berkeley's greek theatre.

the coachella show was mind-blowing. there must have been about 80,000 people at that set alone and they came on after madonna...

I saw it at Lollapalooza and it was one of the best concerts of. my. life. Everyone was totally feeling the energy and I was having a coniption every single second. I had heard the Alive set (from Coachella) before I went so I pretty much knew what to expect. Nevertheless it still remains a very very fond memory in my heart. <3
 
i dunno, they were very good, but wouldn't go so far as to call em great. bjork was far better.
and i got two chemical brothers shows in a week's time. and you probably know what i think of them.
 
id never listened to them until i saw this thread, so i downloaded some live sets. pretty impressive, thank you for showing me the light. i just thought they were over popular house music, wrong. they are over popular awesome house music:D

Crack smoker! ;)

Daft Punk were on Saturday and Madonna was on Sunday. The dance tent's capacity was 8,000 and judging from the number of people outside the tent, I'd guess there were 10,000 people there. Good thing the Daft Punk show was so good too because Madonna was HORRIBLE! And I'm saying that as a big Madonna and Stuart Price fan.

Coachella was the debut of the pyramid set. And the best part about it was that I'd just been over at the main stage watching Depeche Mode. Ahhhh, good times. :)
 
I love daft punk.

Too bad I'm too young to have seen them in their prime, the pyramid light show for their summer us tour 07" was nar-nars.
