A person i work with has tried dextroamphetamines twice now first time 20 - 25 mg and 2nd time 5mg both times strated off how it should and within 30 minutes he was ill , feeling cold, sluggish and nausea kinda like a bad hangover.

The 2nd time was less severe. What i want to know is MDMA being a type of MD(methamphetamine) , correct me if im wrong is it safe or even worth him trying it , because he is thinking of doing it and im trying to find out if maybe his body wont be able to handle it like the D-amp ?

i just dont want him to get sick or worse.

i just remembered he has Gilbert's syndrome wich has something to do with the liver im wondering if he also lacks the CYP2D6 enzyme and maybe that could be a possibility ?

He is also skinny with a fast metabolism

Gilberts syndrome is where your bilirubin is too high. The only real side effect is jaundis. We can't possibly know what your friend is lacking or not lacking. I would reccomend they go to the doctor or stop taking it. We can't know if he'll get high on MDMA he can try it if he wants to risk it. We can't possibly know how it will effect him.

Although MDMA may have the word methamphetamine in it, it is not really an amphetamine in the way d-amp or m-amp are. It is an amphetamine related drug, but it isn't an amphetamine. I don't know how your friend will react to MDMA, but nowadays you don't always get MDMA when you go to buy it. It's usually something else that's similar like MDA or it could be straight up methamphetamine or even regular amphetamine. MDMA today isn't what it used to be back in the day. So be careful.

I can't see how Gilberts syndrome could be related but I am very tired right now!

There's no way for us to know how your friend will react to MDMA. Safest thing is to stay away - if they do try it then I advise them to be very cautious and try a really low dose initially. Also, get yourself a testing kit - as kokaino said "MDMA" often contains a lot of non-MDMA things these days..

Thx for the reply guys ive tried my best and let him know (even showed him this thread) but he seems pretty headstrong but i have convinced him to start low even though its still guess work on mg quantity of a street pill , just hope to god it doesnt have plain old amp in it aswell i have no tester and not enough time to get one
