I'm 210 pounds, 6" even, and have no opiate tolerance whatsoever. However, when I take over 30mg of hydrocodone on an empty stomach I don't feel nearly as much as other people I know who are larger than me? Is this CYP2D6 deficiency or something else?

We really can't say. Well actually we can say that it's not a liver enzyme deficiency as that would make you get higher, but we can't say what is causing you not to feel it. Likely some sort of natural tolerance. I don't recall what enzymes are responsible for it's metabolism in the liver but you could try inhibiting them. Also taken with a sedating antihistamine like diphenhydramine may slightly increase effects (it is also an inhibitor of 2d6 actually).

Other that that it is hard to say. Try a higher dose (perhaps not in combo with the other crap the first time) try a different opioid like oxycodone or more different like tramadol.

Honestly nobody knows what's up and all we can do is speculate.

^ Totally agree with amapola.

This thread will only lead to endless speculation. Closed.
