cyclobenzaprine?

I have 9 of them, 10mg. My friend said I should take 3 but I would like some input from the people here. I want to feel amazing but still be able to move and operate.
 
There's not going to be much in the way of recreational value from these (check out Erowid's experience page about them).
They're more useful for muscle pain / spasms and sleep problems.
Try take 2 first and see how you feel. And if that's not enough then take another 1 or 2.
 
Yeah all they did to me was make me tired when I took a couple when I had back pain. Maybe some slight relief from the pain, but not alot. They're not worth much in my opinion, if you're taking them to get fucked up, take at least 3. But two at first just to test it out
 
They sound good for sleep :) Wouldn't mind some but not sure if I could take them as I'm also on Dosulepin. Apparently Cyclos are structurally related to Imipramine & Amitriptyline.
 
Yeah..... thats not very recreational. It can definitely enhance OTHER drugs. If you take 3 of them you will feel really relaxed, i would def suggest you take 3. But even then, there isnt really any euphoria, and it will make you itch to be more fucked up. I think its actually worse to be on those alone than to be sober at times.
 
Sorry to hijack the thread but didnt want to create a whole thread since this is an easy yes or no question but is it safe to inject cyclobenzaprines?
 
I have a whole bunch of these I get them every time I go to the doc for my back. I dont even bother with them cause they make me sleepy, I have never gotten a high feeling from them.
 
The main problem with cyclobenzaprine is that you may be feeling them for a lot longer than you intend to. While they are prescribed to be used at eight hour intervals, they've been known to knock people out for 14 hours and leave them with a hangover well past the twenty-four hour mark.

You won't feel relaxed... you'll feel dead and unable to function.
 
I find cyclobenzaprine is great for coming off of stims. Usually stops the muscle jitters and helps put you into a nice sound sleep :) Don't need to take lots of it either to get it to work, which is nice :)
 
Don't take anymore then 30mg's of cyclobenzaprine because above that dose you risk numerous cardiotoxic side effects. All it is basically is a tricyclic that isint a anti-depressant so it's used as a muscle relaxant instead. It is structurally related to amitriptyline but unlike amitriptyline it acts mostly on norepinephrine i think. The only reason i can see why people might think they are recreational is because it's classified as a muscle relaxant. Noone would think a anti-depressant is recreational now would they or atleast noone with any sense.

It's ok to help you sleep but thats about it. I don't even find it any good as a muscle relaxant and after taking 1 about 4 years ago and having the worst panic attack of my life i havent taken one since.
 
Wow talk about a old thread 8o . I would say that in your case the venlafaxine probably interacted with the cyclobenzaprine since they both act as norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors.

I had no trouble with amitriptyline though and i was on it for years in doses of up to 150mg's. So I'm not allergic to tricyclics or anything like that.

Since cyclobenzaprine failed as a anti-depressant i would say why not try another tricyclic anti-depressant that acts mostly on norepinephrine. Nortriptyline, imipramine, desipramine among others act mostly as norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. Amitriptyline is a equal reuptake inhibitor of both serotonin and norepinephrine so it's sort of like a 1960's version of cymbalta except with strong anti-cholinergic effects and amitriptyline lacks the awful withdrawal symptoms of SNRI's. It can cause withdrawal but nothing like many modern anti-depressants.
