Cyclobenaprine and other Muscle Relaxers

So maybe it's just me, but is there anyone else out there that doesn't get a kick out of this stuff?? Some of my other friends feel it hard with just two 10mg pills of cyclobenzaprine and I barely feel anything. I've taken as many as three at a time and didn't get as good a kick as I thought I should be... Your thoughts?

Cyclobenzaprine is (basically) a first-generation Tricyclic Antidepressant. There is no point in doubling up your dose or trying to catch any kind of enjoyable buzz off of Flexeril alone. However, as the two posters above me pointed out, it can synergize well with some Hydrocodone or whatever. Even then though, don't take more than one 10mg tablet, or it will be too much.
 
with benzos, opiates, or alcohol= useful

by itself= useless(execpt to relax muscles)

meprobamate is the only worthwhile muscle relaxant, and i don't think its around anymore.
 
Flexeril is alright for coming down off low doses of stimulants. Other than that, pretty pointless. One day I took 40mg and felt extremely cracked out and dizzy, and started getting panic attacks for the first time the next day - always wondered if that was related.
 
cyclobenzaprine really isnt a recreational drug, but for those of us with horrid insomnia it can work wonders and make life so much better cuz it can KNOCK YOU OUT
it definitely helps me nod out if i take it with an opiate though, makes me slur my words a little bit more as well
 
ya thats what I pretty much figured. Combining it with other stuff I mean. I guess next time it'll be hydrocodone and flexeril...
 
This seems to have been sufficiently answered and morph, demize and toolfan pretty much verbatim covered what I would've expressed.

The consensus in this thread as well in general around here regarding this drug is basically its devoid of recreational value outside of potentiation purposes.

If you'd like more info, search around as cyclobenzaprine has been discussed a lot but most will just be echoing what was said here.
