So, recently I have been taking etizolam, gabapentin and pregabpalin (lyrica). As yet I havent become addicted, not have a reached a level of tolerance. Now is this due to the fact that I am one of the few people that don't get addicted (which seems highly unlikely) or, is it more down to how I take the drugs:

Day 1: take lyrica.
Day 2: etiz
Day 3,4,5 : Nothing other than higher doses of magnesium, Calcium and Vit D supplements
Day6: gabapentin
Dat 7: nothing
day9 :nothing
Day 10: gabapentin and etiz

How long have you been maintaining this schedule?

(I ask because I am currently a daily etizolam user and am looking to wean off with the help of gabapentin)

From February. But then took March and April off completely with no drugs at all. Then back at it now in May. So in a nutshell, not long.

Well, it certainly isn't because you're immune to addiction.

In fact, that line of thinking is a dangerous one to entertain.

In the back of your mind you'll start to actually believe it.

everyone is different and it might work for you but definitely will not work for others.

let's (it most likely does) assume that this works for you ie; you get no bad side-effects from combining those substances in ur system over a period of time.

The real question is, how long do you plan to keep this up for?

I guess for the 6, 12 or even 24 month period it will work great, then tolerance will be too much. And the good effects from them will decrease, while the side-effects increase. Then you are really just better off not taking them at all.

eitz twice every 10 days is , youll still develop a big tolerance over a period of time, even with its short half-life.

I did this with opiates for over two years(does twice ~10 days), just got sick of it waiting for that one day, and you will still develop a tolerance. not a question of if, but when. for the etiz.

best way to use this medicine is only is to take it when you really, really need it.

BTW: as soon as you write down a schedule for taking drugs YOU ARE addicted :)

[edit] i dosed 1 to 2mg a day of etizolam for 14 days, this is the 15th day, i took 18mg valium and no etiz. should i be ok to cold turkey from now? i guess if i feel bad ill take 3 or 5mg of valium
