A few weeks ago I had a remarkable experience candyflipping 5 or so Es with a Hoffman 2000 Trip. Just wondering if anyone has experienced cyber visuals before. What do I mean by Cyber Visuals?
Visuals like the texture on fellow clubbers skin pealing off them pixel by pixel to reveal computerised wire mesh dancing drawings . The texture would remove itself pixel by pixel from head to toe or visa versa until they were wire mesh versions of themselves ripping up the dance floor.
Also I experienced severe time distortion. Not like a minute seeming an hour and an hour seeming a minute. More like a friend would walk in freeze, blow up, and then rewind to walk in again and suddenly their head would be in my face! Foreign textures from walls and so on would also merge onto the wiremesh clubbers which were in fact just people dancing about. This carried on for some 6 or so hours. During this time I was sweating my arse off!
The unusual thing is I had the trip at about 8:30 PM and started taking the Es at about 11:30. And didn't get the harsh visuals until 6:30 AM. I did expereince mild LSD like visuals earlier on but nothing as vivid and as full on as the early morning. The Es where MDMA also & not MDA. Someone explain, Going on this info I shouldn't of been tripping at all right? Maybe someone spiked my drink with liquid LSD(I wish!)
Overall a pleasent but unusual experience!

"5 or so e's", hehe.

i'm suprised you didn't think you were a robot as well

Haah! very funny Pinger
Just wondering whether someone has ever been in the same boat. Maybe JohnBoy would have some idea. I highly recommend it. Dancing is a dream. It was like dancing on a cloud with continuous flow 240 Volts going through my body. Visually I was I was dancing in a rave in the year 3000!

YEAH YEAH YEAH!! ive had cyber visuals b4!! cept it was after a very strong mdma pill (well, i am pretty sure it was mdma) and way too many bongs. Everyone's faces were robotic. they were purple but green lines with the dots, like computer sort of. you know? think the matrix. Everyones faces were electronic and everyone had glasses on as well. I could control what cloths they wore and what they said, regardless to say, everyone was scared for me, but I loved it. I really don't get visuals from cid. Dont like it at all.

I know what you mean Mr. Horse by people being scared for you. I was sitting on a chair pulling all sorts of weird faces and a chick in a similar state came and helped me.
She got one of those champagne holder things filled with ice and gently rubbed about 10 or so cubes on my body. It felt great!
If your out there and reading this post I'm really really thankful!

ok i gotta say that all those people who go on and on about MDMA not being a halucinagen please shut up, sure it is not strictly halucinagenic but it does happen, well it happens to me all the time.
halucinations come from your mind, not from the drug. certain drugs make halucinations easier but essentially it is just the way your brain is processing visual information. you only ever "see" a tiny part of your visual field with any great clarity, the rest is made up by your brain. your brain makes some pretty good guesses at what the rest of your field of vision "should" look like and carefully fills in the blanks.
the classic example of this is the blind spot that exist just off centre in every single person visual field.
for a great demo of this click here
so every moment of the day your brain is making these assumptions. when you take drugs they sometimes make the choices your brain makes a little left-field. your sub-concious mind intrudes on your concious mind by placing thoughts and ideas directly into the part of your mind that is filling in the gaps.
LSD seems to directly effect the bit of your brain where this all happens, but a great many drugs do as well, to varying degrees. even simple exhaustion or shock can throw a spanner into these very complicated brain functions.
i have had a great many MDMA halucinations. one i clearly remember is coming home after partying hard at the opening night of the adelaide festival. i was going pretty hard on a mixture of sheer exhaustion and some wicked euros. i came home to the hotel and took off my clothes ready to get into bed. i reached over and turned off the light and suddenly i was back at the opening night party, pants off, standing outside the festival centre.
what happened was the after image on my reitna of the bright light turning off triggered what is sometimes known as hypnogogic imagery, which is a form of hallucination often expreienced when you are somewhere between a concious and an uncocious state. it looked astonishingly real, and i felt quite embaressed, standing there pants down, until i realised that what i was doing was waking dreaming. i shook the inages out of my head a fell into a deep sleep...
as you can probably tell halucinations and how the brain process information are some of my favorite topics and i could go on bout them forever....

I've had your 'cyber visuals' before, and they were on a Hoffmann 2000 too.
I was sitting at home, tripping mightily hard with a few mates watching the late night news.
There was an image of some dude who had his face pixellated, as soon as I saw this about 80% of my vision went pixellated for a few hours. It was very, very staticy and I seriously couldn't see a thing there.
The thing was that bad that my mates kept on sneaking up on me and scaring me by hiding in my new blind spot.
Those Hoffmann's are some crazy fucking trips!

I totally agree. In fact, I only get visuals off fluffy pills (mdma, smacky) and mary-jane. Acid really doesnt give me visuals. Anyway, a good example of where lack of sleep can have an adverse effect was shown to me about a week ago. As most of you know, y12 exams are on and a friend of mine had been finishing off her maths at about 4am. (she is anti-drug) anyway, she was writing away her sums ie: 2x=4x blah blah blah, but instead it came out 2x=no alcoholed induced.
She looked at it and said: "Becky, your an idiot, thats not how you spell alcohol", then changed alcoholed to alcohol, then realised what she had done. She proceeded to almost burn down her house, then she went to bed. Funny!! I just get ultra-paranoid when I don't sleep. eh.
ps: That blind spot thing is VERY unusual. Almost unnerving. But cool

Hey JohnBoy thanx for the in depth look at hallucinations and the brain.
Those of you that say you don't get any hallucinations from LSD are kidding yourself totally! Its almost like you can see geometric shapes and patterns within patterns and images. Slowly changing, visual distortions - you feel really big or really small. Alice in wonderland type effects, so to speak.
All these hallucinations you can control by letting your imagination flow. That is unless, you get into panic/paronoid spin, then its 6 hours of catatonic dispare to sweat out! The hoffman 2000s are LSD-25, which is the most psychoactive acid but ALD-52(bliss acid) is very common and quite a lot smoother.
Suprisngly that is what is sold mostly on the market. Less of the anxiety and more slowly, swirvy visuals. Bliss acid goes beautifully with MDXX. Throw a hoffman down and its like "am I Eing?".
Highly recommend a couple of sunflowers and a few pills great combo!

getafixnow: um just be careful with your tone, i know what you mean but saying things like "LSD does this and you are fooling yourselves la la la" isnt very good. all drugs are a subjective experience and altho many effects are common to a lot of people, every metablism is different and every dose is different. there are no hard and fast rules.
some people just dont experience the visual element of LSD. perhaps it is to do with the wiring of those parts of the brain to do with perception, but for whatever reason it should not be considered bad or unlucky, it just is.
get my drift? it's a small point i know but i think its important that no one feels they are a freak just because they experience a drug differently to the established norm.

Hallucinating on MDMA is common and can arise from any of the following reasons alone or combined...
High dosage of MDMA
Mixing drugs
Sleep deprivation
And just being overall tired
Hey Mr.Horse, i had that same trip couple of weeks back. I was really mashed and tired could hardly dance anymore, and everyone that i looked at had glasses on, but only the black frames!
check.

All Apologies JohnBoy. I know the effects of drugs are a subjective experience depending on dose, setting, psychical/psycological factors.
I'd say its got a lot to do with the dose and cross tollerance. Sometimes I've dropped a really strong full trip and got zero visuals. Other times I've dropped 1/2 of the same trip and got constant visual entertainment.
I have experienced visuals with MDA type Es. eg Green & Golds/Yellow Bart Simpsons but never on MDMA alone except fuzzy vision.

Hey GetAfixnow....If the Hoffy's are LSD-25 would you (or anyone for that matter) know what is in the GetAFixes that are around?
If you think the Hoffy's rock....GetAFixes pound you relentlessly.....LOVE 'EM!! Visuals are very "liquidy" and too farkin' good!
Roll on 5.00pm.....It's 'Fixin time tonight...

Green Alien, GetAfixes are very very strong. I remember having one about a year ago, I didn't know they were back in ciculation. I'd love to hunt some down.
However I did get a strange flashback which lasted nearly 3 weeks.
A friend of mine said they're the same as the Hoffmans only a bit stronger. There are two other trips made by the same crew that are even stronger still! Can't remember what they are though.
Where are GetAFixes? NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD?

More importantly..Where WERE the GAF's!! In Melbourne....But our dd ran out of 'em last week...Ma!. Luckily we bought a "few".
The GAF's are definitely stronger than the Hoffy's...way stronger. But I love them both...and the sunflowers...and the microdots...and the Jimi Hendrix's...and the Purple Ohms..and...you get the drift..I like ACID!
Bring on the NOISE!
