Forgive me for creating a thread that is probably covered but I need a quick answer. Im in the process now of performing CWE on Nurofan Plus tabs. Ive read a lot about CWE and I ran my cold mix thru a old dress shirt. I wetted the shirt as told. Had a milky liquid after that. Ran in thru a wet coffe filter (the step im on now, and it still is cloudy. What did I do wrong? I cant take in too much ibeuprofin for other reasons. A little bit is ok though. Should I drink it anyway? Filter it again? Too much water? Relp Raggy!! Thanks!
 
Ran it thru for a 3rd time and still cloudy. F it. I drank it anyway. Well see what happens. Should I have used distilled water? I dont get it. Oh well. Any tips on what I did or....did not do would be appreciated. Thanks!!
 
Without lab grade filters and even then.. a bit of the binders is still also going to get through, hence the cloudiness. There has also been debate on the solubility of ibuprofen however in most of the situations I've seen CWE worked fine. As long as you got the pastey substance after the filter, it worked as it should. Like I said CWE if done properly should filter around 90% of the undesired product out. For this current round you just did, you may have lost quite a bit of codeine also due to filtering 3 times.

On a side note, some of the older nurofen pill were halved between the codeine and ibuprofen. So one half would have the codeine in it and the other the ibuprofen. I doubt yours are like that, but just food for thought ;) Enjoy.
 
Well, I got a tiny bit of euphoria. Just a tingle. Im on 40mg methadone a day. 10mgx4 a day. Thats not high enough to block other opiates. I have a middle to low tolerance I guess. Looking for pain relief due to blood clots. Hence the no ibuprofin thing. Im just looking for more pain relief till I go see my pain dr in March. It hurts constantly man. But....thats another story. I probably wont mess with CWE anymore. The pills were cheap but the shipping is not. Cost me 25 to ship. Anyway, I got 30 pills and I just wasted 10 of them. Ill probably just chop um up and up the schnozzer, you know? Haha. I might as well. Dont know what else to do with them but snort or just eat. Maybe Ill go for 1 more CWE. I like the process. Didnt take long. It intreges me. Thanks for the advice!!
 
If you have blood clots i would not be doing CWE's on ibuprofen pills at all as some is bound to come out into solution. You don't want to be interfering with platelet formation at all in your condition.

Was going to say this. As educated as this community is, I should have known someone would have beat me to it!

I do cold water extractions all the time with my Tylenol based hydrocodone and the end result is never be crystal clear. As long as you have a good amount of white chunks left behind you did it correctly. Of course their will always be some undesirable chemicals left behind, which is why I agree with the above post. A cwe is meant to reduce the amount of harm done as well as alter the substance to a point of acceptable ingestion, not to completely eradicate everything other than the opiate. Although that would be nice :)

For future reference, filtering it multiple times will only cause you to lose more of the opiate. If done correctly, 99.9% of what will be filtered out has already been filtered out.
 
Thanks. Im done with the CWE. Dude is right, I do not need to be messin with ibuprofin. Too much risk. Ill stick to my 40mg of methadone and live my life. Thanks for all the tips though. Good luck to yall!!
